Be Like a Bobo Doll!
If I would give you only 1 single advice to succeed online, it would be this:
Be like a Bobo doll
Do you know what it is?
Wikipedia says, "It is a toy that rocks back to an upright position after it has been knocked down."
No matter how many times you try to beat a bobo doll, it always comes back up.
Again.
And again.
And again.
You can try to hit him down for 100 times...
But still it comes back up.
Always.
What Does This Have to Do With Building an Online Business?
You will get "knocked down" numerous time.
You will face many obstacles along the way.
Let me just face a few challenges that I remember from my "online business journey":
- Adding high-quality images to my site.
- Editing my website.
- Testing ads on my site.
- Starting A/B tests.
- The feeling of not having enough time.
- Lack of discipline / procrastination.
- Challenges to get ranked on Google.
- Challenges to create YouTube videos.
- Etc. Etc. Etc.
As I wrote you recently, Anything New Is Always HARD Until It Becomes EASY.
But when you have this mentality:
"I will jump back always like a bobo doll, no matter the obstacles."
=> NOTHING can beat you. You are unstoppable.
Yes, it may take time to reach all your goals but NOTHING can beat a person who never gives up.

Although I'm more used to being called a Bozo than a Bobo, I really do believe I'm the latter.
I do get down occasionally, but I always get back up again.
That's why I've never doubted that I'll succeed eventually.

You provide us with so much info, both in the WA space, as well as in the world travel universe.
Back in the days, there was a video game called "Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego?" and I think you can have a show along the same lines, dropping clues with the description of the specific country's flag, name of cities, important monuments or landmarks (just don't blame us for the constant jet lag, we cna only offer you Dramamine).

This is great, I think I had one of those. I have been out and back a few times. Nice to be reminded in this way.
When I was a kid we had a large air filled doll with a weighted bottom, you could knock it down and back up it came. Until I stabbed it with a fork! Just kidding about the fork. HA HA
I don't know how many times I felt like giving up since I joined back in 2016. But I'm still here🙂 so I guess I am a Bobo doll 🙂

I don't know what failure means, so I tend not to go there.
Meanings have no worth unless we choose to act them out, so It's all about setting "YOUR" mind, not someone else setting it for you.

I love this! Many times since joining in March I have felt completely knocked over but I still somehow have managed to get back upright again - like the Bobo doll!

Hello and thanks so much for sharing, success depends not on how many times you get knocked down but how many times you get up. Failing along the way is a part of the success or like someone once said we will meet failure on our way to success. So let's keep a winning mentality because we can SUCCEED if we get back up learning from our failures.

I thought the bobo doll went out with the seventies, but I understand the analogy well. Like a punch bag, no matter how often it is punched, it will return back to its original position and take more punishment.
