Remember to K.I.S.S.

I hope you're not thinking that this is some romantic blog post, because it's not.

I've spent the last couple of hours reading lessons, and blogs and so forth. And I have about a million ideas swirling around in my head. Where to start? What niche to choose? What to write? Blah Blah Blah.

And then I just take a deep breath and remember what someone (a close business friend) told me a couple of years ago. Just K.I.S.S. and everything will be all right.

K.I.S.S. stands for Keep it Simple Stupid! Because most often that's what works best and we all have a tendency to complicate matters when there is no need to. We just need to take a little time to jot down a few ideas, pick one and just start. No need for elaborate websites when you're starting out. The most important part of our journey is to ->>> start.

Once you start you'll get the hang of things and then later on you can make changes. Also it's always easiest to choose your first niche in something that you are familiar with. For example, my choices would probably be in the industries that I have experience in. Some of the subject matters I know about are art -> mixed media and acrylic paints. I know about creating jewelry. I have extensive experience in sales and marketing, hospitality industry and social media management (just to name a few).

So I'm thinking of starting a website about social media and possibly another one about home based businesses.

Everyone has experience in something so you just have to write it down, do a little research and get to it.
