About DDarragh

I am a retired boat captain and fisherman. I also taught Scuba for over 25 years. I worked from Key West Florida to the Bering Sea in Alaska. Prior to that I owned a motel, ran a few semi successful internet projects, drove an 18 wheeler, worked as a paid fireman and owned a successful wholesale meat distribution business. I guess you could say I have an eclectic background.

Originally from New York I reside in Florida on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.
Father of two , grandfather of three.

I am now looking to supplement my income with this project.

So awesome Dennis, I know from experience that goals are what lead us to success. Work relentlessly in pursuit of these goals and they CAN and WILL happen.

In fact, wipe failure out of your mind right now. It simply won't happen. You have too much help, support and an entire community of help behind you to ever let that happen :)

If you need anything going forward, just let me known and I will be happy to give you a hand.

Hello DDarragh, Thanks for the follow! I will follow you back. Best wishes in your all your endeavors.
I worked in Florida for a while. There was a guy I worked with that said his family owned a dive shop in the keys. His name was Chris Pitts I believe. He said they had a dive shop on the one of the island. It's been about 15 years ago.

Hello Dennis and welcome to wealthy affiliate.
Since you joined in August you will have come to realise that internet marketing can be a steep learning curve.
If you haven't already been doing so, can I suggest you browse some of the 200+ blogs I have published within WA.
Thank you for the follow anyway and I will follow you as well.
There is plenty of scope for someone with your experience to make money on the internet and if you get stuck you ask ok.
Enjoy your day.

Hi again Dennis it’s a good idea (only if you want to) to click the 'Like' icon within a comment if you like it as I have done with yours.
Obviously you don't have to click every single comment or you will be here all day doing nothing but.
But to click the ones you like that are replies to your own comments will be reflected in your WA ranking because it shows you are getting involved with the community.
Enjoy your day.

P.S. If you get a chance check out how the training helped me to build my websites. My latest one on how to boost your retirement income just went live a month ago and the one on sleep apnea has been up for almost four months now. You can find the links on my profile page. Any feedback or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dennis,

It appears that I haven't yet left you a message even though we have been networking for a little while now. How remiss of me!

My hubby loves watching 'The Deadliest Catch', is this the type of fishing you do? It's a far cry from catching mackerel off the West Coast of Ireland, although that's exciting too.

Good luck with your endeavours here. It's great to be in your company as we move forward.

Thanks for the connection. I did work in the Bering Sea for a few years on a Pollack factory trawler. It was a little bigger than the crab boats at 368 ft by 70 ft. It did appear in 2 episodes of Deadliest Catch while they were air lifting an injured deck hand and again while assisting in a life saving effort. It was a fun experience but awfully hard work that I am paying for now heheheh Thats why I am here!
I am of Irish descent and had the pleasure of visiting there about 7 years ago. Beautiful country I hope to return some day.
good luck to you!
Dennis
