Give me feedback.
I am reaching out to the WA community asking for feedback to see if I am on the right track. I am trying to incorporate a balance of images, links and fonts to make a page that has "eye appeal" and reads well with solid content.
I welcome all suggestion and/or comments. Thanks.

super cool niche and if you get your messaging nailed- which is forming nicely, then it could be a brilliant one- I agree about the drop shadow issue, it is "foggy" and detracts from the clarity.
I find the formality of the tag line of the site military spouses ...world wide to be a little too formal- I really like the cleverness and approachability of the URL though- is this your more natural voice- whichever is true- just be true to you...you should make the pics bigger, but if that pushes stuff down and under the fold- just make sure that you have a sticky post that is going to say most of what you want it to- (you might have done this already) and you can lead your visitor from there.
Thanks for the review and comments/suggestions, I am working with the fonts and rethinking the tag line. Images are diffidently something that I see I need to work with, thanks again.
Really nice site. I think you have a great niche. The only suggestion I have is maybe changing the shadow box effect on your titles. I don't know if it's just me, but I find looking at them makes them difficult to read. Maybe it's because I'm near sighted, but with my glasses on, I find it hard to look at. Wishing you much success with your site.
Thanks for taking the time to look at the site, I will play around with the shadow box effect on the titles. I'm new at all of this, so I'm kinda teaching myself as I go.
Very nice job Roger! Really nice niche too! Perhaps the pictures could be a bit bigger on some of the pages. Just my thoughts since I'm very visual! :-)
Thanks for the feed back and it seems that everyone kinda thinks the same way about the images. Looking at them, I agree they do look small and just setting there.
Hi Roger, great job!
Your tagline is good, I would find it more effective if it was shorter: Military Spouses Working Online. Since ''online'' already implies that it is worldwide (worldwide web as it used to be called)
The choice of your pictures on your home page is great, they may look like their just hanging on the page. I would review the placement/sizing or have them wrapped in text.
If you like the ''eye appeal'' effect, the Making your own website and Spotting a scam category pages appear less catchy since there is no visual.
I also like your eagle/flag picture and I think your Facebook page looks great!
Doing real good! Wishing you much success!
Thanks for taking the time to look at the site and post. Yes, I think that I have to get familiar with text wrapping, but it's suggestions like yours that help me look at the site through another set of eyes.
For sure! That's just details! You did great, I'm visual so of course that caught my eye. You don't want to know how much time I spent choosing a spot for my logo on my site, lol! Sometimes we have to take a step back and perhaps ask for support, this community is so awesome! :)
Hi Roger, I am impressed by your site for two reasons. I think that you have a well defined niche. I also like the professional look of your site. I think that you should centre (center) the small images that you have on the page that you have given the link to. On your " Who's Roger" page I would place at the top your picture. Very best wishes Mark
Thanks for taking the time to look at my site and post. And I am trying different things with the images.
EXCELLENT! I never thought of the military spouses in this sense. Shame on me! Good for you!
II like your site. I like your niche. Being in the retired USAF family I can identify. Great job. And I particularly like the eagle with the flag superimposed. Awesome.
Thanks, I really like the eagle. I appreciate the feedback, and you taking the time to look at the post.

I love it and a fantastic niche! Where were you when I was one of those spouses who, oh by the way, no one wants to hire because once you're really trained, you move. I think you're really on to something with this.
Thanks for checking out my site, and sadly most employers don't even want to talk to military spouses.
