What Is An Affiliate Marketer
Hi Folks
I read so many questions asked and comments made about what it takes to be a successful affiliate.
A lot of the time the people asking just don't have a clue how to go about marketing as an affiliate and actually make money from their efforts.
With this blog and the next five I'm going to publish I will be giving quick guides on the how to of what it entails to be, and how to best out of, and about being an affiliate marketer so that you actually make money from being one.
With this first blog I will just give a super quick rundown on what an affiliate marketer is.
Affiliate Marketer: Someone who promotes products and services and gets paid a commission when someone they refer buys through their affiliate link.
Online this generally entails you using a special link that is unique to you and when people click on it and buy something you get a commission. All the tracking is done by the affiliate program. I’m going to give you my proven affiliate marketing tips and techniques to do this for best results.
So what do you need to be an affiliate marketer?
1. You need to find a product you can get an affiliate link for and get your link. There are many affiliate marketing places online that you can search to find products you’d like to be an affiliate for.
2. Its always best to have your own website that you can post promotional content that gets people to click on your link.
3. You need to get people (Website traffic) to your promotional content so that they can see it and then click on your link.
For some reason all too often I see people try to make it way harder than this, but these are the basics…
Affiliate link + place to put your affiliate link +traffic to your affiliate link = COMMISSIONS!
TIP: Adding bonuses/incentives to your offers can dramatically increase your conversions.
Now that I've got the introduction out of the way, over the next week I will publish my five affiliate marketing profit tactics.
I want to make sure you fully get the drift of the ways you can and should be promoting affiliate products for maximum exposure and increased visibility.
I recommend that you read each blog, and then pick one of the tactics to start with.
I will list an overview of each strategy, and then the steps you need to take to put the plan into action.

I am doing the same thing as you (the big difference being your experience and youre better at it) BUT, as I mentioned a couple of months back, I strongly believe the market is big enought for many people helping others to make money through affiliate sales.
