How To Add More Fonts Styles & Sizes To Your Wordpress
Hello People
The other day I was attempting to change the style and size of my fonts in an article I had in Edit Mode in my Wordpress. All to no avail I must add.
After some advice from Loes I tried various Plugins and Themes and after a great deal of trial and error I finally managed to find one that worked for me.
Any WA member who would like to have this option of making changes in their own articles/blogs can follow the instructions below.
First of you have to go into your WP and Plugins.
You click on Add New and type in the Search Box - Fonts Family, Fonts Style
When the plugins have been loaded, scroll down the page until you see Fonts
Click on install and then activate.
Go into your pages/posts and click on one to Edit.
Once in Edit Mode you should see that the plugin has added 2 drop down menus to your visual editor with additional sizes and fonts:
You should see two more menu buttons
A button for Styles
A button for Sizes
Although I haven’t tried it yet there is the option to add your own selection of Google or Custom fonts including premium fonts, to your editor:
Add Google fonts

There you go folks and I hope you go on to enhance your articles/blogs instead of using the same old same oh default of wordpress.
If any members do start to use this function to its full extent then perhaps you will share your new found knowledge with the rest of us.
You can always leave a comment below and possibly a ‘Like’ as well. It will be appreciated and I do reply to every one.
Have a great day/evening.
Robert Allan
ps
if you have trouble uploading the Plugin you can download it directly here -

Just what I was thinking about since I moved my site to my own domain and found I couldn't change the size, look, of my fonts.
Thank you Robert, great post. You are a superstar!

Hi Robert. Recently I changed my theme to "Make". It is unbelievable the options you have in customizing the site. With fonts, you can change color, size style, anything you want. Load it up on a test site and check it out, you will be surprised.
Thanks for the tip Larry and I will have a looksee.
Thank you for your comment and you make sure you have an excellent day.

Thank you for the information. I had been trying to get some variation in my drafts. This will help so much! Maybe the drafts will become pages and blogs and posts!
Hello Sami and thank you for your comment.
Glad you found my blog helpful.
That's why I write them lol
have a nice day.
Robert
Thank you. I had this on my list to find out how to do it. I find the range of fonts and styles a bit limiting as I am used to the greater variation on Word. Have a good day/night or inbetween.
Hello Helen
I've wanted to do this for a wee while coz I do use a lot of variations on my other sites and they look so much better when you can 'Tart' them up a wee bit.
Loes put me on the right track and I just persevered until I found out the right way to do it.
You can download lots of other ones from google as well.
Don't know if your usual google password will do for this function or not so you will just have to try for yourself.
Have an excellent day.
