Hello,

For you veterans who have been here for some time, I have a question for you. I am almost to my second month as a Premium Plus member. I have followed the train

I am semi new as well. I wrote a blog here about this. You can find it here. It may or not be relevant but here it is nonetheless. I have learned in my short time here that it is the content and how it is presented that gets your content index and ranked. It will take time in the beginning to get the content created and posted. Google is wonky and trying to figure itself out at the moment.

My suggestion if I may, create awesome and useful content. Then leverage social media to share your sites, post, and ideas. I have personally leveraged this and have noted an increase in Social Media organic traffic. In fact, in some post and pages, the social media organic is where all the traffic comes from. I suggest Pinterest, facebook and "X". Also explore writing on sites such as medium and link those post back to your website or post.

One thing for sure, no matter how many post you have. It takes real eyes to read and consume it before a sale can be made. This means traffic.

I hope this helps. I just thought I would jump in and offer a couple of suggestions from someone else that is fairly new (a.k.a ME).

Thank you...That is exactly what I am doing.

Mike

Great, I wish you luck ahead on your journey.

Michael

From joining WA, it was 14 months before I made a sale. From 1 website it was 6 months. It's not really the answer you need, though.

SEO is always on the move and, while your ability will improve over time (at what rate, I can't tell you), so will the goalposts. What you want to obtain early doors is an upward trajectory in traffic and impressions. When that falters, challenge yourself to fault-find and course-correct.

However, a wise man here once said it can take 9 months for a post to reach its full potential. So, don't be hasty in tearing things up and starting again. Be patient and committed.

Listen to others but follow your vision and you'll be fine. Good luck!

My guess is that answers from veterans will not help here. The reason is that situation with the main traffic source, which used to be Google, has changed dramatically, to the worse of course.

But here it is, from my best site I had income coming after two weeks, and after 6 months the same site was generating a 4-figure monthly income. This was all free traffic based on SEO.

However, these days are over and you should not think this is possible now. Your Cabin Living sounds interesting, this is something where you could have lots of success with a YouTube channel. People will love to look over your shoulder and see what you are doing. Forget text-based posts, this will never work.

I'm certainly not a veteran but have been here for 3 months now and had 4 websites built in the 3 months.

I have now downgraded to two websites, one is doing quite well for traffic as I did get an extremely high targeted keyword with low competition for a specific post.

The other is more of an educational and redirecting website with no affiliate links etc. Simply to gain followers.

I have now finally found a niche that I have always been passionate about and have had great success in just the past week alone. You Tube believe it or not.

I look at WA as more of an educational platform rather than an income as it can take 3, 6 or even 12+ months to start earning a decent income.

So many variables come into play when aiming for a timeline to generate income. Like you mentioned, niche is one. High quality ranking content, how much time you are devoting to your new business. Social media marketing, email lists, follow ups, keywords, competition, etc.

I'm sure people have made money in the first 30 days, and I'm a firm believer in what KYLE always says, you're lucky break could literally be any minute now. The internet is loaded with endless income possibilities. It all comes down to the right time and place to hit your breakthrough.

It sounds like you are doing everything right and if you continue to do so, your lucky break is not far off Mike.

Wishing you all the best during your journey here at WA.

John...

Great Reply, John. I have two other businesses, an Etsy store and a window washing business and yes, it does take plenty of time for a real business to get established.

Thank you,
Mike

My pleasure Mike.

Have a fantastic Sunday & all the best moving forward.

John.

Curious about your traffic source and numbers if you can share. How much traffic do you get and from which sources?

Hello,

My new site, which has been fine until yesterday, is not coming up this morning. It is about 2 weeks old. Here is the site: https://cabinlivingtoday.com/

Comes up fine for me, Mike. Perhaps a (temporary) internet glitch at your end.

Attractive, colorful site too, nicely illustrated.

Thank you for the nice compliment. Yes, I had to have the tech dept. fix it for me and they did it very quickly.

That site is only a couple of weeks old so I have a ways to go. Per Kyles help, one page regarding lighting your cabin is directed entirely to my Etsy shop where I make a line of rustic lamps for cabins and lodges.

Thanks again,
Mike

Glad it's sorted, Mike.

This was meant to go to site support. I am not sure why it appeared here.
