Wealthy Affiliate Introduction: Premium 1st day 6/22/14
This is my very first blog on anything, ever. Be right back while I cross this off my bucket list... OK I am very excited to get this started.
I found Wealthy Affiliate for a few important, passionate reasons. I am passionate about never being broke again. I am passionate about being my own boss and owning my time and paying myself, and not someone else, be that bills or a boss. There's a reason I hate my job, it's not meant for me. Being here in Wealthy Affiliate eases my brain and calms me down, it's like I found Nirvana when it comes to what I want to do in life.
I love advertising. I should have pursued a degree in advertising and marketing because it's fun for me to look at the 5 W's and How people buy and consume. I think it started when I was little and watched T.V. I'm an insomniac or a night owl. Starting from when I was little just couldn't sleep well. I work graveyard at my current job. Back to when I was little. So I had no cable. All I watched, besides cartoons of course, was The Price is Right and infomercials. Stayed up at night watching George Foreman grills and exercise machines, falling asleep to the sweet lullaby of "Set it, AND, Forget it!"
Fast forward I'm older now,I always knew I had it in me. I was one of the smartest kids in school, book smart, street smart, smart mouthed, always told I had potential. But growing up I made stupid decisions i ended up regretting, went through a whirlwind of degrees not worth finishing and career choice blunders not worth mentioning. My heart was just not in it. I became a robot. 10 years would go by just like that. One more month and I will be 30. Something changed. I became inspired and turned off the autopilot switch. There's something about starting a family that just kicks you in the ass and forces you to be a better person.
I know I can make it in this world, just not the traditional way. I started looking online for opportunity. I surfed site after site and it hit me, so many people are making money through advertising online, just by posting about stuff they loved or were interested in. That hit me like a brick wall. And after banging my head on that wall I finally broke through with WA. I had to wade through the mountains of crap online businesses to get here but I'm here, learning my ass off now about online advertising, online business, building websites, working from home.
OK cool got my first blog post out of the way. Told myself if I get to 100 friends I'll make a blog post. And I've only just begun here on Wealthy Affiliate. Thanks for reading. Sharing in the success and hoping for the best! Lots to learn time to get to work. And a BIG THANK YOU to my first 100 friends on WA. Loving the community help and support!

You're on your way. This is the most comprehensive training on the web, and is often referred to as WAU ... Wealthy Affiliate University.
Stay focused on the training and taking the directed action, and become familiar with the WA search bar at the top for helping you when you get stuck on something. By searching the keywords of your problem you often find specific direction and help.

I agree, you are an excellent writer and you will do great. When I was first reading your blog here, I thought well, he's probably later on in life to have gone through what you mentioned, then you said you were 30....gave me quite a surprise! LOL
Best wishes and I'm glad you are here.
Thank you Bunn I am humbled. None of my teachers and professors ever called me an excellent writer! :) made my day because I believe I'm a 3 out of 11 when it comes to writing. hopefully wealthy affiliate helps me accomplish a now much longer list of 'things to do before i turn 40'
Hi,
Enjoyed your first blog, just wrote my first one yesterday. Keep up the good work. Will look for more of your blogs. Wishing you much success.
Thank you Judy for your support you commented on the first chapter of the rest of my life. A life I'm changing for the better. I appreciate you stopping by
Great blog RJ, when I first started I had a tendency to write very analytical which didn't really connect with my audience. I changed my writing style and kind of wrote from the hip! You have that writing style already. With your desire and abilities you can make a great living doing this, keep up the good work, Mike.
Hello RJ,
Enjoyed the read and now that you have that off your chest it is time to get to work!
Here you have several paths available to you however I would recommend only 2 training paths:
1) For marketing the Wealthy Affiliate program you have a comprehensive 60 lesson course, click below:
http://www.my-linker.com/hop/A_B_C
2) For general marketing for other niches you have a 40 lesson course, click below:
http://www.my-linker.com/hop/OEC_level1
At a later stage, I highly recommend that you visit the fantastic training library available here, click below:

IMPORTANT: Make it your priority to get a site built as soon as possible, the social interaction can wait for when you are busy tweaking your site.

Thank you kind sir you have some great advice. I will take a look once I finish the beginning course. You saved me a lot of time with those recommendations. I've already registered a couple domain names and working right now on the themes and look, soon to be adding content. Appreciate the support!
RJ,
Glad to be of help.
The "Get Started Here" training is primarily aimed at the FREE members of the community.
The other training I mentioned here is more for the PREMIUM members of which you are a part of.

Great post Rijjmm. See you're a funny and enthusiastic guy. That's good because like my post mentioned about C.A.R.S - "Calm Approach on the Road to Success", that attitude and state of mind will definitely be needed in any business, yours included.
Remember this: Can't stress enough!
======================================================
"...Your desire for success must be greater than your desire for failure; in order to fully succeed (especially the way that you want to)..."
======================================================
Looking forward to working, learning and earning alongside you,
Keane
P.S. Guys >>>Rijjmm's very 1st blog rocks!
You go bro!
Thanks Keane you're a natural teacher, just reading through your blogs they've been very helpful. I hope to write as good as you one day. It's very presentable and catchy even to the eye. I suck at writing haven't typed or wrote anything besides text messages and emails in ages.
Oh and to add to your quote, I like to tell myself, 'Every time you fail, you're one step closer to success."
Because there's a lesson learned every time and a motivation to do better after. and to not quit because the desire to succeed ramps up even more.
AAAAND just like that I have an idea for a new blog post on my niche site and here at WA. Learning How to Fail Better Will Make you Successful. Would not have thought of that if you never posted on my blog and if I never replied back. dynamite goes boom. iron sharpens iron.
Really appreciate you stopping by my blog with kind words!
