I'm deciding which service captures more viewers. has anyone tried this and what was the results? just looking for feedback and help deciding which is better.

Why not both... Content is KING Exposure is Queen

I will use both, now to figure out when to use which. thank you manie!

Hi Rj, Why not use both? Just like TV commercials have two versions of most every commercial, you could make one video serve double duty. . There are those that say the average viewers attention tends to start to stray in 6-7 seconds, Perfect for Vine. Use the longer version to say more on Instagram. Just the simple edit of length doubles your ability to reach an audience.
Change up the titles a tad bit, keeping your keywords of course. With the different titles and length the search engines see it as two completely different video's so no duplicate content worry.
You end up reaching two audiences, so might have double the views. With both videos having back links to your site, theres more SEO love for your site. Best wishes on your endeavors

wow i didnt really think of it that way you're right I do reach two different audiaences and I could potentially rank better. I appreciate the feedback thank you drawshot!

Personally, I think instagram is more credible and provides you more flexibility and hashtags that may be relevant to your niche. I believe it is a better tool that allows someone to be more flexible for business purposes. However, why not both? Explore both options and if you feel you can convey your message in 6 second intervals, stick with Vine.

thanks yeah I will try both and gather feedback for waht works for my blog thank you for your input. I do think IG has more social benefits too.

it is a good question and to be honest I do not know both are popular but I have not used them

I don't really know, that's a great question. Both are very popular. Vine is a dedicated video, but what I don't like about it is its very short duration, it's more limited than IG and it just loops along. Instagram video are longer. But maybe you'll end up using both. I'll be following this blog to see what other responses you get. Good luck!

Appreciate the feedback. The short duration of the videos helps with how I promote the product. In my first two reviews I will be using different methods. I'll be doing the next review with instagram. Smartwatchsmartbuy.com It'll be up soon and I hope you could check it out and lay some feedback on my page! I really appreciate your help thank you!

Ok, I'll check it out.

Here's an example: Please check out my advertisements! They are some pretty good deals!

would something like that be ok to ask?

I see nothing wrong with plugging your advertisers within your own site. I do it all the time at live shows with my sponsors, but I would do it in a very professional way. :)

I would not do it here at WA, as stated below :)

This is actually more in the lines of what I'm talking about. plugging advertisers on my website and not here on WA. and yes very professionally done and in good taste. appreciate the reply shawn

You can ask for a review on your website but not to check out your advertising. Even when promoting outside WA, that is the order to follow.

thank you Nick, just needed clarification on rules and the right way to go about things. appreciate the heads up

Hey Rj,

The WA community is here to help each other and not to profit from each other.

Asking for a review of your website is fine, as long as you don't post it via any form of affiliate link.

Regards,
Jay

Thanks Jay I just wanted to clarify what I can and can't do here in WA. I understand that this is a community of people helping each other and not looking to profit that way. thanks for the heads up.

But what if my target market is geared towards People looking for niche affiliation? ofcourse if it's not allowed it's not allowed. I'll DM kyle and run my idea by him. But the above example question is just that, an example. That is not the exact question I would be asking.

I get it and think that it should be okay. Be care and ask people for feedback because some might be turned away by the thought before they even give you a chance.

I think that if individuals agree, you could send them a link via DM if they want to check it out.
