Hey Richard,
I've done my share of eCommerce websites..
WooCommerce has some pretty decent reporting.
Google analytics can also do a good job at ecommerce reporting.
Are there any specific questions?
Regards,
Jay
Hi, Jay,
I guess nothing specific right now, but I may have some questions arise as I go along.
It will be a simple site with maybe only about 4 pages and a page for blogging as well.
There will only be about 5 or 6 items listed with the option to purchase multiples if the buyer wishes.
Would you be open to my contacting you directly if I get stuck, please?

Does anyone have any experience with creating an e-commerce website?

My advice is that if you are not confident in your abilities to do this, you should inform your client & advise that they find somebody else who's better suited. Getting a paycheck is nice but sometimes you've just got to pass it up.
Thanks for your advice, but don't worry, Dale.
I'm confident I will pull this off. I know how to build a website and will learn how to use WooCommerce.
There is plenty of info out there, and with my determination to learn, it will happen.
As Richard Branson once said, "When an opportunity presents itself, say yes! Then learn how to do it after."
If we don't step out of our comfort zones, we will never grow and become more in our lives.
Onwards and upwards.
Thanks again.
Well, best of luck. I hope you can make it happen :)
Stepping out of our comfort zone is great but it is even better when there is no consequence to others.
Nevertheless, I am sure you will deliver.
There won't be any consequences to others because they are a friend of mine, and no money will change hands unless the site works.
I have already done a lot of research, and my question was for any final helpful advice from those who have already done what I am about to do before I begin.
As I said, all advice gratefully received.
Thank you, Dale.

How do I grant third party access to wordpress back office without access to my wealthy affiliate ac
Probably a simple solution, but this is the first time I have done this.
I am about to build and maintain an e-commerce site here at Wealthy Affiliate for a 3rd party. H
Thanks, Guys, for your help. I have it sorted in my pea sized brain now!!!
Have a fantastic day.
add them as a new user to the website in th backoffice ...
there is training on how to add a new user to your site within the main training or an offshoot of it....
this way you can set the level of changes they are able to make - admin is allowed ot change everything....
good luck with it....
