I made 3 Figures this month! Yippee!
Wow! What a month it has been!
I started it out not knowing how much I was going to make, if anything, but working even harder than last month. In october, I got my first sale that paid me a commission of $47 after which, I went WILD on content!
I knew that if I made one sale, I could make 10, I could make 100, I could even make a 1000! What I didn't know was that I was going to hit 3 figures!
I made $223.86!!!
The Breakdown For November
Posts published - 28
All Time Total Number of posts on my website - 143 posts
Number of visitors to my website - 3,224
Total starter referrals in November - 29
Total premium referrals In November - 2
Commissions
WA - $138
Adsense - $38.86
Another affiliate program - $47
All this totals $223.86.
December 2018 will mark a year since I joined Wealthy Affiliate and I would have wanted to reach my goals faster for sure, but I didn't work as much during the first 9 months on my website as I should have.
I only published 10 - 12 posts a month, which is not enough in the make-money-online niche. i only realised this in mid-september and made changes to my schedule to be able to post every day.
I'm really glad I made these changes and worked harder because this resulted in me making more money than October and I'm really looking forward to how much this is going to change in the right direction for the coming year.
Message To Newbies And My New Referrals
I started making money on the 10-month mark, which is very slow and not typical. I'm sure I would have given up if I wasn't so desperate to change my life around.
Many people achieve results faster in a different niche and by posting more regularly. Just remember that if you give up, then you won't know just how much you would have been able to achieve.
Give yourself one year, as this is what it usually takes for a business to become profitable. Work on it! Don't let the time pass you by! Learn from my mistake and get those posts out there!
If I had worked hard enough and had 143 posts by the 6-month mark (an average of 23 posts a month) I would have probably started making $500 - $800 every single month right now.
But what's past is past. I now know what I gotta do and although I'm a little late (in my own eyes), I know now that I have to make OTHER things revolve around my business until I start earning a regular income from it.
Don't make the mistake of making your business revolve around the other things in your life else you're not going to make the progress that you want. I know you have kids and you have your day job probably, but after them, make your business the next priority.
When it's time to work, tell the kids so. Time yourself and work maybe 2 - 3 hours a day, even if scattered across the day. Instead of watching movies on Netflix or browsing through your feeds on social media (which are really not going to bring you anywhere in life), WORK ON YOUR WEBSITE!
That's the ONLY way to move things along. If I had quit and told myself that this does not work for me instead of working harder, I would not have been able to see my 3-Figure month. There were so many times that I wanted to guit and so many hardships that I faced but I'm here today because I kept going.
I just wanted to share with you my realizations and results with you so that you don't make the same mistakes that I did and so that you can make your new year here as successful as can be.

Great job.
How do you schedule your posts. Do you already have content ideas planned before hand or do you research keywords each day?
Thanks, Mubashir.. :)
I work the afternoons so I have time everyday in the morning where I get up and start working on my website right away.
Every Monday, I do my keyword research. I try to find at least 7 keywords for 7 different posts that I will be able to publish over the course of the week.
Then, utilizing the Draft feature within SiteContent, I create 7 drafts and put each keyword within the tile of each draft.
I then write my first post and publish it. If I have enough time, I go through each and every draft and write out headings or make notes on stuff that I want to talk about within the post.
That way, I have the layout and ideas ready for the week. Sub-consciously, your mind will be working on ideas on those 7 different topics as days go by and when you start writing, you'll see that you'll know exactly what you want to talk about.
That's how I'm able to write a blog post within 1.5 hours. Taking the time each Monday to plan out my week helps save so much time over the whole week and having it all planned out makes me actually WANT to work on it.
I hope this helps... :)
It's currently taking me 6-7 hours to write a 1500 - 2000 word article but that includes everything from images, featured images and fully optimising it for SEO.
Thanks for this info. I really need to become more efficient with planning my content. I'l try your strategy and see how it goes.
Good job! Well done!
Do you have one website where you post all the articles/blogs? Or did you start multiple sites?
Thank you,
Thanks so much, Salih.. :)
I only have one website that I have been working on for about a year now and that's where all my articles and blogs go. I create different pages on the same website to promote different programs.
I do mostly product reviews and depending on the what the product was trying to promote, if there is a better alternative out there, I create a landing page for the better product and direct my visitors to that landing page, where they can read more about it and sign up for it.
Hope this helps.. :)
Hey Reyhana,
Nice! Congratulations on your hard work!
Can't wait to hear more of your successes.
Monica
Thank you, Monica.. :) Absolutely! My hard work is starting to pay off.
I will share every single one of my successes for sure! :) If by me sharing my success, I can inspire and give others hope to keep going, then I will do it!
I'm at 199 posts on my affiliate site at my 9 month mark. Let's see if your projections are right. Will my hard work pay off as you're saying? I don't know. Let's see.
Wow! That's awesome! My goal is to have 180 posts until the end of December 2018, so you're definitely ahead. Congrats on getting so many posts out there. The more posts we have out there, the better the chances of getting somebody to our website and making a sale.. :)
And those projections were for me; I'm almost at the 12 month mark and by now, I would have probably started making $500+ every month if I had pumped out twice more content (doubling the money that I made in November).
I'm not even taking into consideration that the money on our website will grow exponentially, like it has happened to so many other people, due to the "snowball-effect" nature of this business. Take for example that I made $223 in november, which is 5 times what I made in october.
Anyhow, I really hope that you make MORE!!!
The $500-mark was where I was envisioning myself after 12 months in this business. It didn't happen, but I'm more hopeful that ever! :)
Thanks for sharing this celebration with me!
It's good you're still in the game. The first year is very discouraging because it's very few results for the work you put in. You've done great! I'm in the same boat: being hopeful. If we both stick to it, I'm sure our goals will be achieved.

Congrats! That is awesome! Keep moving onward and up!
Thanks, Christina!
Absolutely! There is no going back now.. :)
