"Why Kyle and Carson are charging you $47 for their so-called premium membership"
I got a comment on one of my posts from someone who seems critical of the WA model, Kyle, Carson, and the entire WA Community.
This is just a snippet of what he said;
"If you divide $547/8.5 you get around $64.35 per month. I don’t know what your adsense, amazon, etc. payouts were, but just judging from the WA-centric commissions, $64.35 in 8.5 months is not encouraging at all from the WA standpoint, especially when Kyle and Carson are charging you $47 per month just to maintain their so-called premium membership. I don’t think I could ever be convinced to be suckered into actually paying that kind of money to earn so little and over an acceptable amount of time. I realize it’s not a “make millions” overnight scheme, but if those two really wanted to help people earn money online and it was so easy then:
1. They would never charge a dime for any of their services.
2. Everyone would be doing it."
My 1st reaction was to ignore him but one thing I've learned here at WA is that you have to stand by what you believe in and address/educate naysayers head on. So I approved and replied to his comment stating that I believe in and support Kyle, Carson, and the entire WA Community.
Here's the link to the post and if you believe in WA and what "those two" have to offer please respond to his comment.

For my money (literally) every cent of WA's charges is money well spent. I've been scammed for thousands (most of which I got back) and this is not a scam. Where else can you get what WA offers in the way of education and a wonderful community? I hadn't found the answer to that before I came to WA and since being here I haven't looked any further. Thanks for this post, Roland. ~Marion
I'm glad you stayed professional and represented WA well. $50 per month for great hosting, unlimited websites, ground-up and consistent education, a strong and positive community, &incentives; and commissions to top it all off is a steal in my opinion. With the entirety of the web, there are MANY people looking to get started with building a website who have no clue where to begin or even where to look for quality education. On this same world wide web, there are MANY people looking to take advantage of the inexperienced and charge them up to THOUSANDS of dollars (I know from experience) just to "know the secrets" of the millionaires. I'm sure Kyle and Carson get paid handsomely for all this, but I'm also just as certain they put as much back into this community.
Thanks Josh! I really wanted to stay professional and wanted some of my WA buddies (like you) to back me up in a professional way. And I agree, Kyle and Carson put so much into this and they deserve everything they get!
You definitely have to consider your return on investment. His calculation is certainly one way to see that, and maybe at some point it won't make sense to continue with WA. But while you're still learning and benefiting from the resources available - meh, it's pretty small potatoes in the business scheme of things. Hell, my coffee service bill used to be way more than that!
And then there's just the overall bitterness in tone - this is someone who feels they've been wronged, or who just wants to paint WA in the worst light possible for some reason. I always had a rule - I don't read anonymous mail. If there no signature or return address, in the trash it goes. So that's how much shrift I give this note.
I can tell you it took me YEARS to pay off my student loans and the monthly payment was more than $47. However, I've learned more useful information here (stuff I can use day to day) in a year than I did all those years checking the squares. Now I won't say those diplomas didn't help open doors in the corporate world. Yet, I often wonder if I had found something like this MANY years ago, would I have needed that corporate job. The sky is the limit here if you do it right.
I agree with your comment that the sky is the limit if you do it right. So often people try short cuts and/or they don't follow the training. Then they quit and complain that the program didn't work when it was them that didn't work.
Interesting Roland, Just the other day, I had someone complain about the cost of online businesses and WA,
What people fail to understand with owning their own business is that it comes with expenses.
How would Kyle and Carson be able to feed their family and spend time at WA without charging a fee?
In my opinion, I think the fees are reasonable for what you get and learn.
Hosting cost money with or without WA, If you want secure reliable hosting, it's not inexpensive. That alone really covers a lot of the expenses itself.
Not to mention the training, keyword tool, a community of people that support each other, live training, other members inside WA offers training. Up to date training, PPC, live chat. At no additional cost!
If I missed something Roland, please let me know :)
That person who left a comment doesn't realize it takes time and work. Lot's of people expect to make millions in a few days just because it's online.
You did not miss a thing Evelyn...you hit the nail on the head as you do again and again. Success takes time and it takes hard work.
the guy is nuts, maybe clever nuts, he totally missed what we actually get for that, including high end hosting for 25 sites and top training and help - I would not have included his comment, but just stated the full package as it stands for $47 or yearly, in a review style, as his words are negative lies that don't get unsaid, and WA commissions are at nearly 50% too...
yes, clever nuts...trying to derail me from WA so he can attract me to his less than stellar program
yes, high end hosting anywhere else costs more than we pay at WA and we get a zillion more perks including training - there objectively just isn't anything that compares out there
Good point, Moz - hosting for all those sites would be sky-high on your own. So if you're not taking advantage of multiple sites then you're not getting full benefit for your $$. But to DO that you need to learn how to do it, and how NOT to do it. So it seems to be it's still worth the cost.
even one website at wpengine would be more and that's without training - we are not losing in any way!

Roland, Toms an idiot. What business does he know who will give it to you for free. Well I left a comment, I didn't say what I really wanted to say cause I didn't want to disrespect your site and plus I'm a lady. I think your comment to him was very professional, Way to go Roland:)
Thanks Lady J!
My pleasure Roland:)
