I am Afraid!

It has been few weeks at WA now. Yes, my sites are coming along okay. But, I am not able to still make a penny even I have joined with many affiliate programs!

Well, I am not doing this full-time as I have a full-time job now.

My question is, should I be worried? Am I doing something wrong? Am I one the wrong track?

To be honest, I am a little on the backfoot right now!

Cheers!

Patience money will come! If your campaign it seems not working try another one ask some successful WA member here get some tips with them, that's what I'm doing copycat, and it works.
My traffic increasing, yet still learning and pennies started showing up.
Visit my site! http://docutac.com,
I don't have resources just make use of the training here. Not yet finished but slowly moving on.

The honest truth is depending on your niche it can take a long time for you to begin to earn money. You have to get your websites set-up, have your keyword research done well, and get unique original content on your website/websites for your niche using the keywords you have researched.

Then you have to continue making content for your niche to become more of an authority website for that niche. The more consistent you are, the better your research and content is then that leads to better search results for your keywords. This is where much of your long-term traffic should be coming from.

You can pay to advertise through different platforms/websites, however if you are paying for advertising then you need to make sure that your products/ services will recoup your advertising investment and create profit.

Many people run their website for a year or sometimes even 2 years before they really begin to see much traction. Generally it comes down to a few factors:

-Did they do good keyword research.
-Do they consistently create new well written/ original content and maintain their website.
-Is the niche something people are actually searching for very often?
-Is the niche helping to solve a problem or something that people need?

Then for conversions to get sales which earn you money there are separate questions
-Are the products/services you are offering fair priced?
-Is the market competitive?
-Is my content written well enough to get sales?

There are several factors to making your online business run well and generate income.

Generally I have an 18 month plan... Throughout the 18 months I am creating the website, doing research, creating content, promoting and reviewing products in my content or website stores that solve issues within the niche, creating social media accounts for the website, and then continue to update the website with new content. If the website isn't generating revenue within 12 months I re-evaluate the market for the niche, look at niche competition, do more research and make content to properly engage my targeted customers. I also look at traffic statistics and conversions to gauge what I could possibly do different. Now if the website is still not earning money or not converting after I create more content and changes by the 18 month mark then maybe it's time to move on if traffic is too low, not a big enough market, too competitive or if the market just isn't good for the niche anymore.

Then you have to look at all your work and decide I put all this work in do I quit and just let it disappear in the many forgotten websites that disappear each year, or do I attempt to sell my website?

Then the question comes up, do I try again with another niche?

Ultimately that is your decision!

I can tell you I have had some niches that were good but got too competitive for the small sub-niche keywords I used to build some sites but I have also had some sites that had less competition and earn money. So sometimes depending on your finances, your niche, competition level, etc... it may be worth trying with a different niche.

I have had some failed websites and some profitable websites. Do proper research and consider some of the information I have discussed and also information you have learned from the training and decide if this is a type of business you're interested in and do niche research to see if there's another niche that interest you with better competition levels and profit levels.

I know this is a lengthy response but to be honest and provide some different questions and information I felt like I needed to lay out different things and present various questions to reply better.

Woah this really helps. And it is so nice to see someone spending so much time and effort to help another. I really appreciate it!
I like your plan idea. Right now my target for 3 months is 50 articles at least. And, I will be mostly worrying about the content.
Let us see, where we stand!

As others have mentioned, if does take time, and even then it has to done correctly.

Keep tabs on your traffic, if after 2-3 months your not getting any you might need to work on your keyword selection and content.

If you are getting traffic but it's not turning into sales than its likely the content is not action oriented and convincing visitors to make a purchase.

Effort, time, learning and adjusting are the keys to this business. Stick with them and you'll get where you want to be.

Thanks for the kind words and the tips mate!

It generally takes three months for the search engines to trust a new website. I did not make money with my first site until it was three months old.

There appears to be a three to six-month delay between what you do today on your website and seeing results. Please do not let this discourage you.

The key is to keep adding content to your site, confident the search engines will catch up.

I am starting to see the value of content. Both quality and content. I will work on it, thanks!

You will be quite disappointed when you expect to succeed in everything you do. There are people that have to constantly take risks in order to start seeing any results. Did you know that to be successful it takes a different mindset than the average person has?

Blew me away when I learned that this program doesn't produce billionaires in just a few days of training. I thought I would only need to copy and paste a few words a day to make that kind of money.

Live and learn there is a reason that patience and consistency matter in our lives and not everything is possible with such mediocre effort...

Thanks for the wise words mate!

I have been on here for months and I still haven't made a penny but that's because I have taken my time. You have to put a lot of work into it over a year to get good returns but it's like starting a new business, you have to establish yourself and your reputation first and then the traffic will come the more you write and the more content you put out there. It takes time and effort !

I will heed your advice. Following you now, thanks!

I just hit my 6-month mark and haven't made any money whatsoever off of my websites. The way I understand it is it takes a long time. Kind of makes you wonder if it's worth it, right?

But, I committed to doing this for a year. If by the end of a year I haven't made any commissions I'm going to hang it up.

Hi Susan, I have a similar goal like yours to this but I think its going to take a bit longer than a Year for me.Anyway, following you now friend :))

I like your thinking Susan. Thanks for the words!

I have been on here for almost two months and also haven't earned any money yet. But at some point it will come, with hard work and patience. I think the more content you have on the website, the more you will start showing up and possibly being highly ranked in google. Keep battling away, you will get there.

Yeah, right now I am going to work on my content. Thanks mate!

My site has been going for about three weeks and I made my sale this week (for a huge $0.66 commission). From what I've heard, that's just lucky.

Most people often see their first sales for a few months, until they've accumulated a larger number of content posts on their sites to attract a greater number of visitors.

Just keep doing what you're doing - make sure you content is worth reading and they'll keep coming and sooner or later, clicking on your affiliate links.

Are you getting any click throughs to your affiliate programmes? If you are, that's a good sign as sooner or later those clicks will become a sale.

Yes, I see some clicks and they are not too bad actually for a one-month-old site. I guess I was a bit paranoid!

I've been here at WA for almost 2 months and I was feeling the same way, but anything that we do, it takes time to master. I know I was under the assumption that I would be able to start making money instantaneously myself, but reality struck me in the face. We just have to work hard for what we want and invest into ourselves. I'm under the conclusion that things will turn around and a profit will come eventually, it has to. Just stick to the training and expanding your website. The Internet is our oyster, we will see profit sooner than later. YOU ARE DEFINITELY NOT ALONE.

Thanks for the kind words!

I like your analogy! The internet is our oyster!
In truth it's. Thank you! Well said. Louisa B
