I love instant success, but I'm building for the long-term.

But then November came, and sales slowed to a trickle. I guess no one really goes crazy buying things on Amazon for Thanksgiving. I did write an article on Turducken in the hopes of selling one through an affiliate link. But alas, I did not sell a turducken this year. In fact, I only sold about six small items, the equivalent of maybe $2 in advertising referrals.
I lost my motivation.
Then December came, and sales started to pick up again. Yesterday, I made 18 sales! That is the highest number of sales I have had in one day. I'm starting to get really excited about what I'm doing on WA and Squidoo all over again. My articles convert, and I do have a knack for it. What I really need for success is perseverance and patience, which are virtues that I can't buy. I can learn, though :)
The thing about this stuff is realizing there are both tortoises and hares in this business. It doesn't matter which one you are. Just know that both eventually make it to the finish line.
