About Mrbill74
Joined March 2011
After spending 24 years at AT&T, I came to the realization that I was tired of working for someone else, I was tired of watching others profit from my labor, and I was tired of being unappreciated. Clearly, the path I was on did not lead to where I wanted to go. Even though my advancement in the corporate world had been stifled by my inability to kiss management's backside, I told them to kiss mine and I walked out the door. After taking a few years off to travel and enjoy life while still young enough to do so, I began looking around for something I could do that would put ME in control of my future. With encouragement from Steve (IveTriedThat), I landed here. I'm a 52 year-old grandfather of two (want to see some pics?) and I'm looking for a brand new start. I'll be the first to admit I'm not as sharp as I used to be, but I'm hoping perseverance and determination can get me where I want to go. Who wants to help me get there? :-)

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY to have you here, Bill - a big welcome to WA from another who is a bit long in the tooth, as they say. If you want it badly enough and are willing to put forth the work, it will happen bigger and better than you ever imagined. Nice thing about WA....you don't have to kiss a darned thing you don't wanna......lol.

What a cutie you have there! Bring the boys around to meet us - we expecially like young prospects here...hahaha. Seriously, you will find old, young, in-betweeners from all over the world that offer a fountain of information when you get stuck...all you have to do is ask.

So, come on in....I'll see ya around the breakroom....I'm the one who brings the virtual jelly donuts!

Mrbill74. It seems we have a whole lot in common. I lost my job after 27 years. I have tried to find decent employment for the last 2 years, but I am 59 (close to 60), and that works big time against me. So, I am excited about having my own business, even though I haven't made any money yet....it will come. What is your website? Also, I believe that Philly beat KC in 1980, but I forget things. Or, you are referring to the NLCS and Houston. What team caused you misery at the time? Anyway, good luck with WA...I have really enjoyed it so far. My website: www.petesportstuff.com
Reply
mrbill74 Premium
You're right, Pete--Philly did beat K.C. in the 1980 Series, and THAT was the cause of all my sorrow. :-) My website is www.fieldofdreamsiowa.com. Wishing you all the best! :-)

I can not log in to your site. KC beat Philly last night, so that is SOME redemption, right?
Reply
mrbill74 Premium
Yes, we did beat Philly last night, but I think your team's five turnovers was the big difference. The Chiefs' offense was nothing to write home about. But, in the NFL, a win is a win, and any win on the road is a huge plus.

Click on my picture to be taken to my Profile page. On the right side, you'll see a link to my Field of Dreams Iowa page. Click on that and you should be taken to the website. Hope you like it. :-)

Hello Bill, I visited all of your websites. I like them all. Great job. Anyone who enjoys reading about historical events, among other subject areas that your websites offer, will love your sites. I love to learn about history and classic anything. From Diners, vintage toys to classic cars that I have owned a few. I will visit your websites again and again, since there are so much about different interesting subjects to read and learn about, that I haven't read yet.
I wish you a continuos success.

Thank you for the follow and the comment. "Where there's a William there's a way" - - I like it! I'll share that with my wife, too.

Looks like we have some similarities. One of them is that Steve introduced us to WA. As he said, WA really IS a breath of fresh air. I've been online almost 20 years, a lot of it spent trying to find something I could do that was honest and reputable AND I could make enough money so I could be my own boss. I finally found it here in WA.

Both of us want to be our own boss instead of working for someone else. Our sense of humor may be similar, and you obviously have some writing ability as well.

I wish you continued success here at WA!

By all means, Bill, make sure your wife sees that 'William' slogan. She probably already knows it's true. :-) I'm glad you found WA, and I look forward to reading your future success stories. It's always nice to meet someone with a sense of humor, because sometimes the things I say aren't real funny. Cheers!

Hello Bill, thank you for the follow. I've been preparing for a marketing presentation this week so have been away for a few days focused on that. I apologize it took me a bit to reply to your post. I'm glad to be a part of your network. I have a lot of friends and family in your area. I hope WA has helped you fulfill the dreams that brought you here. I had hoped when I started, to be able to give 90% of my time to this, but have found it works better for me to take the goals I have set and work toward them in bite size pieces and stay solid in all my commitments. (I have some other work I do on the side as well as real world online marketing training and independent consulting).
Would love to know how it is progressing for you as well. Best of success to you!

I actually grew up near Branson -- Harrison Arkansas. My first doggie came from a pet shop in Branson. We used to pass thru there traveling from St. Louis Missouri area to Arkansas every two months to go visit relatives in Harrison area, we usually would stay 4-5-6-7 days or so and then come back again next rotation. With the road improvements it seemed just a zip from Branson to Harrison. Certainly changed from when I was a kid. When I was a kid folks in Harrison were more likely to go to Springfield MO to shop, now more likely they do go to Branson for the "malls". Used to LOVE the Christmas lights but I guess it was about 7-8 years ago we last went and the lights were not nearly as dramatic.

From one Mr. Bill to another welcome to WA.. I've been in a similar spot where you were. I call it the rut system. This is where you get up in the morning shower, shave brush your hair and drive the same path to work, perform your duties for an ungrateful boss and then drive that same road back to your home. After many years you've cut a rut into the road your car could probably follow it without you steering the car. Her so glad that you found WA. Has there are a lot of scam Internet marketers out there. WA offers an opportunity that is unmatched by any other. Will be glad to help you get to your destination. Need any help just drop us a line. And yes we would like to see more pictures of your grandchildren. My wife and I raised two boys and three girls. They have blessed us with 15 grandchildren. We've got enough pictures to make your eyes bleed. LOL. Wishing you much success here at WA

Hey MrBill74! Thank you so much for clarifiying that for me! I have seen the live chat room, and I'm still "old school" about all of the social networking and chatting online while so many others read what I write! It was only last year that I finally broke down and started using Facebook. So, I will definitely use the live chat room; as I was saying, I did see that option, but I wasn't sure if I should jump in and just randomly start a new topic, but since you say that's how it's done, then that's what I'll do! : ) Thanks so much for the tip! And good luck with your business! ~Diana

Thanks so much for the follow Bill and nice to meet you! Thanks for liking my facebook fan page and your comments! Just like yourself, I am a huge fan of music and I love mostly any music except rap and hip hop. I DJ every once in a while on the odd weekends. I have heard of the Scene IT series, but I should definetly check out the music one!

We have a lot of common. I also enjoy bowling and crazy women, lol. I've been 5 pin bowling since the age of 5, in a league every Thurs night and I hold an average of 220. I did try 10 pin bowling, but I'm not very good at that one.

I've also worked for AT&T and Comcast in the past. I've troubleshooted the internet service, tv service and cell phones.

I really enjoyed both your websites - very nicely put together! I should go rent the movie Field Of Dreams as I have never seen it. I do know it's quite the popular movie.

If there is anything I can do to help you on your journey, I`m just a message away. I would like to wish you: health, wealth, success and happiness in 2013 and beyond! Stay in touch,my friend.

I got your message. Actually, I was temporarily on that light account. This is my real profile. I'll likely be keeping membership on this unless I get 0 referrals between now and 3 months from now. I have 1 recurring membership right now. I'd just much rather be getting equal payout cuz I've already invested a lot of money in this site.

For your question, it's more of an advanced strategy. You don't need to do this. It's just if you're very knowledgeable with statistics, why certain areas/groups look up certain keywords, and you're pretty knowledgeable in the topic area, you can put together those keywords and create a brand new keyword related to that topic nobody's going after. You can pull this data from around 10 or more very similar keywords.

Take for example Oprah Winfrey. Find 10 keywords people are looking for related to her name, and figure out a couple great keywords that would create a great new niche with her, and maybe even use that in conjunction with something else. You'll need experience to do this though & have a pretty good feel/understand of the search engines and why people use them in the topic area though. ;) Finding a profitable niche or great keyword is all you really need to do. This is extra.

Good luck.
