Hi there,

I would recommend to redo the lessons of the training, if you are unsure what to do now.
And 40 posts are not really enough to generate a steady stream of visitors. It starts to get interesting when you hit 100 posts.

I don't quite understand why you use banners from WA on your website. That doesn't make much sense, as your site is about how to maintain a lawn.
That just confuses your visitors. I would recommend to remove those. Hardly anyone will click on those anyways, because it is not what they are looking for.

How is your traffic going? How many visitors do you get?

If you don't know what to write about, just do product reviews.
Putting up a store with hundreds of products won't drive traffic to your site.
Writing reviews about those products brings traffic and that way you won't run out of ideas quickly

Cheers

Hi and thanks for your response, I can certainly remove WA banners. I will consider writing reviews about some of the popular equipment regarding the turf industry, and as you mention will give me ideas and traffic.
I have been ranking ok with google as per jaaxy mostly on the first two pages, but this may drop away now.
I get hardly any traffic, only a few clicks a day.
Thanks again for your help.

I have specialized and worked in the turf industry here in my country and overseas for over twenty years, and in many different aspects of it and I used this topic as my niche

Use the alphabet soup technique! :)

Go to Google and start typing some words in your niche or some words that you have used for your articles already. Then see what Google displays as suggestions to complete the search query. I've used this myself and have found several ideas that I hadn't thought about before.

For example, you could type "turf a" then "turf b" and go down the alphabet to see what comes up in Google.

Thanks for your response kdev. I have been through the alphatet indifferent configerations several times and has helped me.
Thanks anyway
Cheers Peter

Hi. I remember Kyle saying that you can often find more content from within your own articles. Maybe go back over some of them and see if there are some topics that you can elaborate more on. Might there be different ways to irrigate, or get rid of pests/weeds in a natural way, is there an ideal time to mow the lawn, or water it? How can you recognise a weed, is it best to mow before the grass gets too long and turns to seed? Can you slow down the growth of a lawn, how can you stop it from going brown in the summer? Are there plants that are good to grow with lawn, or are there any that you should avoid? I'm not sure if you have already thought of any of these as I only had a very quick look on the site, but these were just a few ideas that popped into my head anyway.

Hi, Many thanks for your response, I will go through these items and see where it takes me
Cheers Peter

I checked your site and it has great potential. What about the following:
Develop a page, not blog post, that will be seen on the menu bar, entitled - "Lawn Dramas - How to Avoid Common Mistakes!"
Write an introductory page outlining that the following sub pages will deal with common mistakes people make. Some of these will be found in your blog posts and others can be anecdotal from your friends and readers. Each new sub page will deal with one mistake,

Google "Common Lawn Care Mistakes" and you will get many ideas to write about.

I hope that helps.

Duncan

Many thanks for your response, I will look at this for sure and see what we can come up with.
Cheers Peter

You're welcome.
