A friend of mine here had an issue today with Win Ten, which overtook her computer without her consent. Oddly, enough, I had the same thing happen only a few hours later.
Thanks to her , I found an article that discussed this very issue. so please be careful and read the Win Ten pop-up before you click it off, as it may have a clock ticking.

If so, look for the hidden button to decline any further action. BUT, if you do not and it shuts down your computer. HAVE NO FEAR! You can decline the user agreement when it pops up that will make it uninstall and return you to your normal operating system.
I hope this helps someone not freak out!
