If you are using a Wealthy Affiliate domain name are you allowed to use google adsense on it? If you are how do you go about doing so? I am very interested. Thank you!
They ask for a domain when you apply... you will not be able to submit siterubix.com since it is not yours... so you need a website that is owned by you and typically been verified.. once you get approved.. you can place ads on a siterubix site. you may or may not see much value there.
You can put advertising of all kinds on your website. If you want to put adsense banners, you must have a google adsense account.
There, beside your basic informations you must indicate where and what size of banners you would like to place on your site. When your site(s) are accepted you will get a html code that you have to place on the indicated webpage (normally the sidebar).

Hi, I noticed you are premium. You can always purchase your own domain name and host it here at WA. If you catch a special you can get one as cheap as anywhere from .99 cents up to about $15.

I was at rank 380 and I completed all of the assignments. when I looked my rank is 1256. I don't understand.
ditto mine was at 199 then jumped to approximately 788
I could have worked more on the 199, getting towards number 1 but I was distracted by the Olympics (which was a treat for me since where I lived before I could NOT get NBC for more than a decade - no cable or dish ), soaking up all the events - especially the skaters of NL (speed skating events, short track)

This is a tough one. It is definitely good to cry and then pull yourself up, as Evelyn said before. Every situation is different and everyone has different response times. The worst thing you can do is ignore your feelings. If you must you can smile through the pain and cry when you can let your guard down, but do not by any means ignore those tears.
But your question is, how would you smile through the tears. If I'm smiling through the tears there is some motivation behind it - knowing that there is no pain in the afterlife OR for my family's sake. There is always Hope. It's up to us to find it and know what it is!
I feel it's good to cry, but then I pull myself up and do my affirmations and stay positive. I've learned as I grew older that I can't let anything keep me in that moment. Sometimes tears last longer depending on the situation, but I can't let it pause my life. I keep moving forward despite how I feel and affirmations and my mind sets is what does it for me.

It can be difficult Kathy, particularly with the death of a loved one or serious illness of a family member. Regarding job loss, I suppose it depends on your circumstances. If you don't have huge commitments you may see it as a chance to do something different, maybe start your own business online etc. There are not many easy answers I would think Kathy.

I find that my biggest problem along with thousands of others is knowing which form of advertisement will bring the best results. I keep trying and trying but I don't see much
Social media especially Google + is a good way to get your name/site seen. Email marketing is effective once you have built a list of interested buyers but building the list is time consuming and takes awhile.
Article marketing is not very effective since the Penguin update.
Text ad and Traffic exchanges can be useful. Again, these take time to build your credit system.
SEO is very effective.
I can give you user names who have been here for months and have not gotten a sale. You have been here less than a month. That is to be expected. Patience is a virtue in this business. If you do not have patience, you will not do well.
My suggestion is for you to keep writing quality content. Someone wrote a comment that it can take Google up to two weeks to index content. With that being said, your first content is just being indexed. Once its indexed it will be ranked. You will probably not rank on the first or third page just yet. Writing is so important when starting out and maintaining your website. Google likes to see new content.
My other suggestion is take the training provided in the order given and not skip around to find some fast way to make money. As a premium member it would be a waste for you to not take advantage of the training provided.
Finally, keep positive. At times it is not easy but you waste more energy being negative than positive. Take breaks to rest and reenergize as well to help you stay positive.
