You Can Negotiate Enhancements to Earnings as an Affiliate.

As an affiliate, there are some ways that you can negotiate for you to get a better deal for your own earnings or list building purposes. The first, and most obvious way is to look for launches that have a built-in contest.

You can often find these through the third-party platform that you're promoting on, and they will often have a page dedicated to launches that have contests coming up, telling you what the dates are and what type of contest is being run.

This is something you can do on your own without even having to negotiate. But you can also arrange for additional earnings by going directly to the vendor and asking for a bump in commission.

This is usually effective if you have a powerful track record as a top performing affiliate. If you have a low score or history of promoting where you are ruining someone’s conversion rates by sending junk traffic, don't expect to get an approval for a bump in commission from 50% to something like 75% to 100% on the front end.

Another thing you can arrange to help bump your earnings is a spot on their download or thank you page. If there is a new launch going on, with dozens of affiliates sending traffic to the vendor’s product, having a spot on their download page with a graphic that leads to your lead magnet page can help you grow your income significantly.

While you can send them directly to a product that complements the one they just purchased, a better option to get more results is to give away a free gift on a lead magnet page that ensures they get on your list so that you can market it to them in the upcoming weeks, months, and years.

This doesn't cost the vendor any additional money, and it gives you a spot on some prime virtual real estate where you can drive traffic to your landing page without even having to spend money to do so.

Another thing you can do to increase your earnings as an affiliate is to negotiate a private deal for your list. If you have subscribers who would be interested in a vendor’s products, you can have them put together a discount or a bundle deal that only your list would be able to access through your affiliate link.

Again, this is often done for people who have a significant number of subscribers or who have a list that converts highly, regardless of how large or small it is. Vendors often love to arrange these types of deals on products that are sitting stagnant and not currently in a high earning launch situation, so don't be afraid to ask.
