I have been trying to add my WA domain to Shopify, but it does not connect. How can I do it without loosing my WA membership?

I think they answered this for you in live chat a little while ago.

Yes I would contact Shopify support to ask how to point your domain to their servers.

Resources

https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/domains/managing-domains/edit-dns-settings
https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/domains/add-a-domain/connecting-domains

You will not lose your WA membership however once a domain is pointed to Shopify servers, you cannot use WA hosting for the same domain.

You'd have to take up services with Shopify.

Thank you, let me try this

Phakama

Sure thing.

Let us know how you get on.

I did also answer you in live chat.

I am running adds on my Facebook Page, and they are costing me a lot of money, and now I want to cancel them. They cost me R50/day, and I haven't made monet yet on my website.

Hi

You may follow up on below resource

https://www.allconnect.com/blog/how-to-stop-google-and-facebook-ads

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much, you have given me more than I've asked for, thanks a lot, I will definitely go through all these and see what can I use
Phakama

You're very welcome.

I see you have your answer, friend. For future Ads on FB, Google, or elsewhere, it is best to manually set up your Ads. This puts you in control of your spending.
In the past, I did an Ad manually on FB for three days. After the three days have passed, I was not charged a single penny more.
All the best!

Hi, thank you for the info, but if you don't mind me asking, how can I manually set up my ads? Can you please enlighten me, so that I can avoid charges

Phakama

Okay, friend. If you click on the menu tab on the right, then click on Ad in the drop-down, then click on either boost for the current business or a create new Ad.

To "create a new Ad", Scroll down to Ad creative and keep Automatic Enhancements off.

Providing that you have your image or video to promote your business, setting up your button label, special Ad category, and Audience, you can set your Ad in "Duration".

It will start you off with 7 days and show the end date. Under "Duration", click on the circle next to "Choose when this Ad will end".
Adjust your days for the Ad or choose the date for it to end. It will adjust to your request. If you agree with the Ad amount, hit the promote button.
Let me know how it goes. All the best!

Following for answers.

I'm following you, Stephen, its a follow-a-thon! ( go see K, her mom died.)
Suzay

Aww wow, thanks Suz…

We hope the following will help you.
In the Payment Method section, find the payment method you want to remove and then click Remove. Note: If you don't see the payment method to remove, click Show More to display all the payment methods on your ad account. In the confirmation screen, click Remove.

Thank you so much, that was very helpful

Phakama

Maybe this can help you:
1
Go to Facebook.com and sign in.

2
Click "Advertising" at the bottom of your home page.

3
Click "Manage your existing ads."

4
Click the status of the ad campaign you want to cancel, then select "Delete" from the drop-down menu.

5
Click "Save" and your Facebook Ad campaign will be canceled.

Marina,
I am quite impressed with your attention to detail and your research skills.
Wow! That was a really great, and organized procedure for someone who has only been here 4 months!

But, details are what WA is ALL about, and following procedures wholeheartedly.
You are on top of things with 4 children, Maine Coon Kitty cat, day job, and husband I am assuming, you have to hit the floor running!

Many people before us have said that they do keep a procedures log.
Nice meeting you, would like to follow you, Yes I'll just do it right now, alright? Please read my profile. I am heading back to WA classes. Just must fix something outside my home that needs fixin'. Just could n't do it in Blast furnace Arizona heat, so it's cooling down to perfect now!

Following you, Suzay

Thank you so much, you have been very helpful

Hi what is a tag name?

Thanks
Phakama

Hi Phakama
A tag name in a WA blog or training is a short name that you invent and create that helps to identify your content when people are searching.
:-)
Richard

Thanks a lot brother

The tag name read-only property of the element interface returns the tag name of the element on which it's called. For example, if the element is an , its tagName property is "IMG"
Hope this helps :-)

Can you please elaborate on that, I don't understand. On my WA blog post I am told to give at least 2 name tags, now I am lost.

oh ok, that is completely different, it are words you add you want to rank for, keywords. for example you wrote a blog on WA about content creation, your two keywords or "tag names" could be : content & blogging (usually words you also used in the WA post)

Thanks a lot my brother, and welcome to WA. I wish you all the best
