Hi
You can sign up to Amazon UK as well as Sweden if you like, however you still have to satisfy the quota for each sign up individually.
So you would have to make 3 sales in your first 180 days per each.
Then you can utilize the one link, where visitors will be directed to the right store as per their location. What is Amazon OneLink (and Does It Actually Work?)
That's fine.
Your site need be ready before you apply for affiliate programs
You would have written 20 - 30 posts and have some traffic to be able apply for affiliate programs as typically they will check your site for relevance and traffic prior approval.
For Amazon it is 10 - 15 posts. You also would have to make 3 sales in your first 180 days.
Lucrative programs - 40 posts +
Once accepted, they've given you material and special tracking code links you can share on your site.
Essentially you are writing more informational posts so that you do not sound so salesy to Google and if there’s a solution, a detailed analysis review post for your visitors to let them make an informed decision whether to go click your links and go purchase the focused item you proposed to solve their issue.
Once they do, and in accordance with your affiliation terms and conditions, how commission payouts are tracked and paid. You need to read up how payments are made because different programs follow different rules; some pay by check others via PayPal or straight to your check account.
I would always adhere to your affiliate program terms and conditions.
This is exactly what I have just learned. I'd say sorting out the tax paperwork for those of us who live out of the USA is the worst of it.
Nothing happened to tax paperwork in the US as far as I am aware. You just have to fill out the right forms based on the Affiliate Network you choose and what country you are from, so it takes a bit of time for account setup (after you get your website running as Abie mentioned).
Thanks, it seems I am supposed to fill out a W-9 since I am a US Citizen / NZ expat. I am still getting used to the tax implications of living abroad.
IRS form W-9 I believe

Swedish or british amazon affiliate program?

Your target group is English-speaking countries, friend. You would want to join the British Amazon associates program.
Check your Google Analytics to see where most of your visits are coming from.
Sometimes, it could be from other places, such as Sweden. If most of your visits to your site are from Sweden, then you would want to switch to the Swedish Amazon associates program.
The best decision to make is where the traffic is coming from. Focus on that. When you are ready to expand, you could appeal to a broader audience. All the best!
Thanks! :) Most of my traffic is from US and UK. I'm out early and need to wait a little longer until I get more traffic and more websites. I'm working on reaching the English speaking audience in the near future ..

I need help with reducing the text size in the main heading.
I have a problem with reducing the headline in WordPress. The text is too large, and I need to reduce it so that
First I would check your Word0press theme
Look in the Wordpress Back Office scroll down to
Appearance -> Customizer -> topography. Your theme should allow you to change font size. Also check Heading tags.
you can add a plugin to help
or you can add some css to appearance>>customize>>additional css
the plugin i use is called siteorigin css and you can navigate to the post and change it graphically...
know that this will change all H1 text size....
or you can add
.entry-title {
font-size: 42px;
}
to change just the post titles
or
.h1 {
font-size: 42px;
}
tochange all h1 text....
you change the number to change the size....
good luck
phil
