Hey Peter,

It has always been recommended that we choose a domain name without hyphens... though I have seen websites with hyphens rank high in Google searches.

Another tip I was shared was to make sure that my domain names did NOT go over 16 characters in length. This person I considered more knowledgeable than myself, so I took that advice as gospel.

That being said, I would choose your 3rd URL... I know, you USED to own it. LOL

Doing a search in Jaaxy using the 3 words in your suggested domain name didn't really offer any great ideas... however, searching using the 2 words on your former URL... there are some that just might interest you.

Have you tried searching Jaaxy using your keywords?

Hope this helps you.

I guess does the .net rank higher than the one with dashes?

Domain names ending with dot com are the preferred versions.

I inquired on the dot come renewableenergyoptions.com which I use to own about 15 years ago is now going for a cool $20,000.

LOL... really. Guess someone is hoping you will come back and pay to reclaim it. If you use the Jaaxy keyword tool and check out the keywords in THAT domain name, you will soon see it is NOT all that popular.

It cost nothing to join and there are no cost to run the program. Money is only made when people that joined by the products.

I need an answer for this one. Help is really needed. Do anyone have any suggestion regarding recruitment. I am working some strategies on thiis subject.

The best thing to do is write a review page for your website on the particular product you want to promote. Talk about why you like the product and why you recommend it. You images to illustrate the effectiveness.
And then once you write the review page, share it on all of your social media outlets such as Facebook, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Twitter, Instagram, etc. If you are not using social media to reach your audience, then you really need to start doing so, because social media is key to getting noticed and getting people to buy your affiliate products.

Have you created a FB Business page yet? I think I asked this before of you and you said you had.

My experience has been that there is so much free stuff that, unbelievably, it can be hard to even give stuff away.

My guess would be that you might want to tighten your target audience and track the results. Tracking allows you to fine-tune your target audience.

Kyle has written about both targeting audiences and tracking. I suggest to start there.

Targeting an Audience Tracking Hope this helps, Peter.

Hi Peter, Do you have your affiliate program advertised on your site. I was looking for an affiliate program on your two sites but didn't see anything other than Wealthy Affiliate. Is that the program you are asking about.
Thanks
Joe

My hobby is photography so I have a lot of pictures. Should these pictures match my theme?

Hi Paul:

Your theme has nothing to do with your photos. They are two independent things. Remove the photographs that came with your theme. Upload your own. You can upload as many as you want. However, your site speed may slow down if you have lots of photographs. You can install a plugin for optimizing images which will help when you begin to notice your site speed slowing down. What is your URL for your photography website?

Steph

http://Anti-GgingGuy.com

It took me a while to figure out what your correct URL is. It is http://anti-agingguy.com/. You had a "G" where an "A" should have gone for Aging. I like your theme. What is it? It looks like a premium theme.

I noticed a couple of grammar errors in your website. For instance, the following sentence is a question and thus, should have a question mark after it.

"The practices by the food industry take years to show harmful effects and because we eat such a diversity of food who could prove what caused the aging, the illnesses or health issues."

I went to GTMetrix website to test your website speed and it could use some help with the speed. Here is the link https://gtmetrix.com/reports/anti-agingguy.com/ibfqePdr It did it using Vancouver, Canada and you may want to change that depending on where you are located.

Often times pictures will slow down the website speed. I recommend installing the plugins W3 Total Cache and EWWW Image Optimizer. Those plugins will help.

I hope those ideas help. Keep me informed.

Paul is actually Peter

Were you able to get this question resolved?

The challenge I have is my photos are free and plentiful and entertaining and my theme really has no photos worth looking at

Delete the photos that came with your Theme and put in your own, the others are meant to be merely placeholders.

Thanks the photos have all been taken my me

I did all those photos I took with my own camera.

Matching your theme with the pictures seems to go hand in hard.
Both are active forces, using pictures that match the theme speaks for it self.
Pictures help tell the story as well as your theme.

My theme is about aging 0r ant-aging. What photos would go with that?

My theme is anti-aging. Got any ideas for photo?

If the theme of your website is photography then you should be good with any quality pictures that you have taken personally. Maybe you could categorize them, example: scenery, animals, architecture, etc.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'match your theme' - please provide more details.
