Top 200 & a warning for GMail users

GMail users
My main hub email is GMail. Like most of us within WA, we all have site linked email also which is another great benefit within the community.
However, to keep track of who has written a blog, made a comment on something I’ve written and keep updated with all things WA, I follow it in my GMail account.
What I hadn’t realised was GMail in their infinite wisdom had been dropping some of my email randomly into my promotions area of the account rather than primary. So if I’ve not replied to you or not connected back to you, I sincerely apologise and message me and I’ll immediately rectify this.
Being able to track and keep in contact with fellow WA is an essential part of the community and if anyone uses a better method I’d love to know.

Would you believe I just use mail. com and I have never had any troubles with them. I thought I would. Thank you for the update on Gmail as II do use them too.

Peter, Yahoo does something similar.
Yahoo decides to marks my emails from WA as spam about once a week. Then WA automatically stops sending emails. Then I have to turn them back on....

Alice had mentioned that she has Yahoo and has no problems. Is this affecting potential WA members in the auto email. Worrying if it is.

Unfortunately, I don't know about the potential WA members.
Fran, another user with Yahoo, never had it happen to her until a week or two ago.
Maybe we both need to look into adding WA as a contact into our respective emails. That might solve our problem. (I just thought of it...)

I have no problems with my Gmail. I don't know of any other better method. Maybe others have better ideas.

Peter it comes from WA’s email responder system the one email that you used when you signed up for WA? I use my Gmail account and it comes from Kyle and Carson WA email. The emails tells me who blogging, comments on my posts, who clicked my likes, people responding to my following them and they follow me, are you getting all that? Ive been getting mine no problems, maybe you need to check how you login and make sure its spelled correctly or you used a different gmail account when you signed up and changed it? You have to white list it make sure it doesnt go to ur junk mail check there it will say WA on the email. I have the email address but its a noreply one you cant reply back its in their responder system.

I noticed that some get put in the Gmail promotions folder, mainly the questions with an odd blog.

That's interesting, it would be great and I will look at if there is a pattern. If Gmail are acting this way it may have a direct implication on Google rankings.

I had a whole mess of Wealthy Affiliate e-mails go into my junk folder on gmail. I deleted them because I didn’t know that was where gmail was putting them! Ugh talk about a mess!

I actually made it easier for me to follow what's going on by dragging everything WA over to the Forum tab. Wealthy Affiliate email is the only email that goes there and it's currently empty so when I see a number there, it could only mean one thing. Some email notification from Wealthy Affiliate is waiting. I think this is a better way to track what comes from WA instead of keeping it in the main tab. So just add the last tab in there (I forgot how to do it) and drag any WA email from Promotions to that tab and Gmail will remember to dump any WA email in there in the future.
