Website speed is very important and for the new members this is something you MUST be aware of because it will help with your ranking at google and will help people find you better.

If a person is waiting more than a few seconds for your website to load then they will walk way and go to the next site and thus you do not want.

What to do

First check the loading speed of your website - I have found the best to use is https://tools.pingdom.com

Type in the link and this will appear - see below

Enter your website and then test from USA - see below

This is my site and I am happy to have less that 2 seconds loading for my site.

Then you know your speed and can work from there and to get good results you must make sure that you are using the WA site speed tool as it has been developed for us and is the best tool anywhere and you only need this tool and nothing else to help with site speed.

The second thing is to use optimised images and if you use your own images then please use the EWWW image optimising tool as this is the best I have found BUT now you can use the WA images that are already optimised
