How to resize your pics in WP
Hi Guys and Gals
This is a quick guide on how to resiZe you pics OK
First find a pic you like and put it on your desktop - see below
This is my pic BUT remember to Rename it when on your desk top OK
Next is to open your Media folder in WP - see below
Next Click the ADD NEW button - see below
Next click on Choose file - see below
Next select the pic and double click - see below
You see I have NOT changed the name and this is something you MUST do OK
Next click on the Upload button - see below
next click on the image to open - see below
Please remember to NAME your picture
Next click the Edit button ( below the pic) see below
Next look to the right and the scale section Now I alway put in 300 on the left and it adjusts automatically and then click the Scale tab ad then Save back under the pic
OK so here is the finished image all done and saved in your Media folder so now just write your blog and insert - OK
OK

Another option is to insert the image into your page/post and manually resize just a bit. Now click the Text Editor tab (rather than Visual) and you'll see the HTML for the image. Now you can manually adjust the size to whatever dimension you want.
OK but this is not good by doing this because of delaying browser response - please see attached
Thanks for your timely tip. I was just battling with a pic in my website. Now I know how to resize it.
Hi! Paul,
Again, thank you for giving away another set of FREE tips. I will definitely put these into use soon - today, and let you know.
Indebted to your support..

Hi! Paul,
Sorry for being lost in RE-NAME; what does it mean? Please entail it so I can correct to suit...
Cheers,
James
OK when you have a picture and the picture is actually a screen shot (as I ofter use) and you put it on your desktop it will say Screenshot and must put a name on you picture - so you rename it OK

Hi Paul, you have uploaded this example picture named "screenshot". Please tell people also to rename their pictures for what it is, before they upload them.
It will end up in the URL
Your URL looks like this:
http;/perkune,com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/screenshot_2017_10_23_at_20_18_36_2.jpg
It has much more value for Google images and looks much nicer when your URL looks like:
http;//perkune/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/.focal_headphones.jpg
