I'm looking into buying a website on Flippa tonight. I'd like to have this site hosted here on WA through Siterubix. How do I go about hosting the site here? I'd also like to k

Careful I've bought a few sites some are good and they are legit but those usually aren't starter sites the starter sites they have a bunch of content plugins and don't really have much value but if they can verify traffic on established sites and profit better shot at it I know I get traffic to one site I bought but no conversions just have a buyer beware mentality about flippa starter sites are hard the better ones are established and usually cost $500 and up. Good luck some gems on there I missed one a clickbank product I wish I would have bought but dropped the dime.

Very recently I wrote a post that I think is insanely marketable. It's a counter argument to something that a LOT of people in my niche are lying about in order to get an advan

Yes. That is a bad idea. Google tracks links to your site. A huge jump, especially if they all the same thing, can get flagged as spam. At best, they'll all get flagged as fake and be ignored. At worst it will penalize your site. I'm not saying you can't do it, but do it smart. Do a few a day, and make each comment unique.

Also remember that the site can delete your comment or refuse to allow it up in the first place, so you have to word it in a way that makes them want to allow it up.

Thanks Numerous, that's exactly why I was hesitant to do it, so I'm glad I asked. I do want to spread this article, not just for the links but for moral reasons as well, I'll just make sure I can do it in a way that isn't going to hurt my site or make Google think I'm sketchy.
Thanks for the advice, you answered every question I had, it's going to help a lot moving forward.
Thanks again,
Patrick

Something to look at are forums in your niche, any social platform that allows you to interact with people, and question posting sites like Quora. If your article is an answer to a frequently asked question or topic then these would be good places to draw attention to it and as long as you do it in a legitimate way it should go well. And because these sites are directly attached to the content that is created they will likely have no problem with you offering a differing view.

Hi there,
I was very recently banned from Site Comments, and I don't think I deserve it. The last time I left a comment was earlier today, but just recently I went to leave

I would send Kyle a private message and ask him to clarify what happened and what you can do to fix it, or to rule out a system glitch.

It's a bit tough when you have no idea what the problem is.

Let us know what happens. We can all learn from these things.

What do you mean you signed up with Siterubix - you joined in November...not sure what you mean by that as you don't need to sign up to Siterubix once you are a member here. Maybe you mean something else?

~Jude

Hey Jude,
Thanks for the response. I sent Kyle a message right after I posted this, especially since I thought this was going to be a support ticket rather than a publicly submitted question...
I'll be sure to update this thread as soon as I get an answer. It is just a frustrating issue since I was on the verge of a major success and now I'm confronted with this major obstacle.

When I say I signed up with Siterubix I mean I registered a domain through their service.

Thanks again for the response,
Patrick

Patrick, perhaps you've given someone feedback on the website itself instead of addressing the topic of the post?

Website comments are public and are not intended to be used for critique purposes.

We have internal WA feedback threads for people who want to get feedback on their website, which is a different thing.

The sole purpose of the comment system is to discuss the topic of the post, nothing else.

Maybe visit the link below and also read the discussion thread. Perhaps you will spot something that will help you. ~Jude

Hey Jude,
I talked to Kyle and he helped me set everything straight. It's incredible how good he and Carson are at helping us.
Thanks for all of your help along the way, you helped keep me going!
Thanks again,
Patrick

Glad you've got it sorted out, Patrick. It's a learning curve for sure.

It's good that you shared your experience - others can benefit from the information. ~Jude
