Hey Everyone, if I have two niches (personal development & healthy living). My website is my name.com & .net. Do I need to buy up multiple domains for each niche or jus
It's great to use your own name for your dot com domain name. I'd just stick with patricebonnell.com for both niches and you can use a subdomain for the second niche e.g. healthyliving.patricebonnell.com Subdomain on Your Own Dot Com Website ~Marion
Go with the dot com only and build that site out. You can discuss about personal dev and health stuff on that single site. If you have both of the sites out, name.com and name.net, it's only going to confuse your visitors or maybe even google. If you only want to discuss personal dev on your site and want to discuss health stuff on another, then register a new domain like patriceohealthtips.com.
I would think you need two. Unless you want to have both niches covered on the same site. If the same people who are interested in personal development are also interested in healthy living then only one domain would be needed, otherwise get a domain per niche so you can target the different audiences. I am a noob though, so may want to take my advice with a grain of salt!
Ok so I'm a complete newbie. I own my name with .com & .net so when I purchase domain names that link to my niche are they their own website or do both niche domains go under my patricebonnell.com & .net? Does that make sense?
1st I would be starting with one niche...2 is a very big undertaking...but if you go with 2 niches you would only need one domain per niche
