Sources of Web traffic?
1. Paid traffic…
2. SEO….
3. Social engagement….
Paid traffic:
Wide spectrum traffic (not targeted) is cheap; but very transactional and low on conversions. And, as the more targeted the traffic you purchase, the more expensive It gets.
SEO:
The king; the backbone of the Internet; +50% of Web traffic comes from SEO. Takes time and knowledge.
Social engagement:
This is the one you find in social Websites.
The source of Web traffic you need is based on your business model. To sell a massive consumer product, you need lots of traffic, and not necessary a personal relation.
To sell a specialized course, you will need to target the right audience, and select the appropriate environment, like a Website made for selling courses.
Your budget counts, too. You will need big money for massive advertising.
The truth is for the long run you will need a SEO foundation, writing in your blog, and find a niche of your expertise in which you can get to influence people.
To build your own audience. That will be your stable source of traffic.
To your success!

Hi there, I would like to sell courses on my website ( content written by myself ).
Do you recommend any course creators to help simplify this, or any other advice in this area? Thanks in advance.
Hi Tracy, cool. I'm also keen to do the same. Ive been looking at Teachable, haven't got my head around it all yet. I know Marion Black is already doing courses on Udemy so you could chat to her.
Hi , Today someone on live chat recommended Learndash and WP courseware as plug-ins for existing sites. Both look promising.
