It is nearly half February (bit of snow for you?) and there comes Steven with the January Report. Isn't it terrible? Well not really, there is just much under the hood. I am starting up writing articles fo WA again, I am returning to concentrating on my blogs and I am changing my focus on what I want to do with it all. I even haven't written the 2 year at WA review yet.

Now that I again pretty well lost my job, I am doing less for work and got more time available at home. I am also looking back at the entire SWAG (also called SAC or Super Affiliate Challenge) course that I started in the past year. It means that I am redoing certain parts of my bootcamp site Own Online Boss (hence the recent name change to ownonlboss) and building up a plan of what I want to do with it and what content to produce.

In company with that I have started creating WA blogs, WA tutorials, Video's for both WA and YouTube and new content for my blog.

I am also pushing forward to do some email marketing and am going through the entire Bootcamp course material that I had never ever completed.

My cat site is still producing some income, although little, but it is at least proof that it works.

January Goals & Results

January has been mostly about getting things started, but I started producing content for OOB website. My goal was back at January not so much about amount of articles, but more about amount of money to earn. I didn't expect to earn anything from WA itself yet, but as I am also active on platforms such as Twitch and also got the already active cats site, there was potential to make money.

Goal:

  • Make 100 USD in January minimal

In January I earned:

  • The cats site made 1 USD profit from Amazon commissions
  • On Twitch (I do some occasional streaming) I made 115USD in subs and bits
  • 1 WA referral that never completed profile
  • 1 Jaaxy referral that didn't go premium

In January I published:

  • 1 post on OOB
  • 1 post on Cats site

I had hoped to post more, but I just didn't get that working yet. I did start writing content though and that got published in February at least.

As for Twitch earnings, they are nice! I didn't realize until now that I made that much actually. The only problem with Twitch is that you don't get them paid out straight away. This money will arrive 45 days after January as long as a minimal of 100 USD has been reached (and it has), so about half March. Luckily for me, I did already stream for some months and hence there is going to be money paid out for a previous month (December in half Feb).

Goals For February

In the beginning of February I expected to still be working on getting things started, but have made some new goals that should be achievable.

  • Gain another 100 USD (can be of anything, except a normal job, so Twitch & WA)
  • Building Further On OOB website and concept
  • Create 1 Email Line (5 emails) for OOB site (don't want to buy aweber before its written)
  • Create & Publish 8 new keyword rich captivating posts for OOB
  • Create & Publish 2 new keyword rich captivating posts for cat site
  • Create 1 video
  • Schedule streaming more regularly to build an audience

Long Term Goals

I recently also updated my long-term goals and thought it would be a good idea to share them here too.

Before 31.12.2019 I want to:

  • Make a 100 USD a month in whatever way or work towards that (month goal)
  • Get 100 referrals into WA
  • Get 25 premiums
  • Open up and start with email marketing
  • Get 50 subscribers to my OOB email list
  • Write 100 articles for the site in total (at least)

With the latter you see that I have to up my game pretty soon. The 100 articles is based upon a little over 12 posts a month. February goal of 8 posts, means 4 short and only 2 per week. In January I didn't even make more than 1 post.

See you at the next overview!

This is a reminder to me that i should come up with short term goals. This will help me achieve my long term goal sooner.
Thank you for sharing your January results.

you are welcome.

Yes, setting goals is an absolute must. Definitely also short term goals.

Note that short term goals do not include results that you have no control over (such as amount of viewers, followers etc).

Steven

Thanks for sharing, Steven.

Good goals, time based.
Keep reporting how your doing. Even if you hit bumps, pick yourself up and dust off. Get back in the race, just like you are doing after the pause.

Go WA,
David

Oh David, bumps I did hit. Partly real-life that caught up once again, partly a slight lazyness, and probably partly some re-focussing to be done.

Seems like the -getting back after a break- type of thing doesn't go all that smooth. It will hit a couple of times some bumps before I am really hustling and working it hard.

Steven

Thanks a lot for sharing. Wishing you great success!

Please keep us updated on your success!
Very exciting to see people meet their goals

thanks

I hope 2019 is a very good year for you and things pick up! I am sure if you write 100 posts it will be.

Sofar I haven't been able to stay on target, but I am determined to get myself in the right direction.

All the best

Good luck!

Good luck, hope you exceed your goals.
