Launching a new Affiliate Site
I took on a new endeavor today.... Launching a new Affiliate site for WA!
I own a domain that I used back in the day when I was trying to make a living from Network Marketing (MLM). The domain has just been setting dormant for several years, still working (I kept it maintained, software updates, etc...) and promoting old links that no longer were attributed to me, since I left those companies long ago.
I've already got my niche site up and running, adding content weekly to build traffic and begin realizing sales. I've made it through to Course 4, Lesson 7 towards Certification while working on that site. But I was getting bored and needed a new challenge... I'll keep dredging forward and working on my niche site.
But, in the meantime, I thought I would jump into the Affiliate Bootcamp, dust off my old domain, and revamp the site for use to market the WA affiliate opportunity.
My site's domain is http://www.StrategicIncomeSolutions.com
I created the logo for the domain and I like to use the short SIS abbreviation for this domain. I thought my logo idea was pretty cool, don't you?
I actually already owned both the singular and plural version of the domain, and both of them resolve to the same address/website. I'm going to do some marketing under both of the domains to see which one appeals to my target audience the best.
I started the Affiliate Bootcamp over a week ago, but today I got serious about it and made it to Course 1, Lesson 5.
My websites up and operating, I still need to revise my menus a bit and add the "Getting Started" page along with the content that goes there. That's tomorrow's task!
However, I am feeling pretty confident in my decision to Launch a new WA Affiliate site. Thanks to WA and the great training they provide, this is a very easy process to complete.

I'm settling in to complete Course 1 today of WA's Affiliate Bootcamp. I've already got some great feedback from @williamhesti and I plan to make a few other structural changes to the site today.

You are right! First I was spending more time with the training, now with reading the blogs! This way I'm learning things I did not know they exist or I would need...

Because of my background, the training and technical stuff comes easy to me... It's the human feelings component of this business that I struggle with.
I love reading how some people are so articulate, and caring, with their posts... I wonder if they would like a ghost writer job with my blog! :-)
I like your work .. really good .. love your content. My first look was using Chrome on a Mac, all good. Switched to iPhone6S .. might be worthwhile reducing the SIS logo slightly as it is a little to big for the mobile. Wealthy Affiliate banner at the base of the page is too wide for mobile.

Mobile is my next area to focus on... I now the issue with the WA banner at the bottom. It seems if you supply a WIDTH tag in the banner image then it does not resize. That should be an easy fix.

Yeah, I'm not ready for WA Affiliate site, but seems like a worthy experience.
So far it seems like it should be easier than the niche site... It seems everyone is looking to make some additional cash.
