8 Year Anniversary At Wealthy Affiliate

As June comes to a conclusion for 2018, my yearly anniversary inside Wealthy Affiliate is coming around again. I've been pretty quiet in WA recently, but am still working behind the scenes on my websites.
Early 2018 was lots of drama was happening my my neighbors, so rather than escalate things, I just decided to move. Well, buying a house and moving everything myself (I was too cheap to use movers) turned out to be a whole lot more work than I planned. In addition to all that, I'm doing various projects fixing up the new place, and managing contractors...I just haven't had time for all the "extras" with managing my business.
So, I've been just sticking to the basics of publishing content, and answering messages here in Wealthy Affiliate.
On the one side, it stresses me out to not be "growing" my business, which I'm always trying to do. If you aren't moving forward, you're moving backward. At the same time, it's nice that I know I've got systems in place to keep the basics of my business running while I take care of other things going on in my life. I can jump back in when all of the move is done. Hopefully I'll be all clear by the end of June and ready to get back in action by July.
One interesting thing that happened this month was a reminder that you never know when good content is going to pay off. I wrote an article in Fall 2017 about a product that I basically just wanted to buy for myself. I wasn't too concerned about making comissions, but figured why let such a cool content topic go to waste.
I wrote a 2000 word review, and ended up ranking #3 on page 1 of Google. As the summer rolled around, I ended up #1 on page #1, and earnings jumped from about $100 every two months to $1,000+ for the month of June.
What other job in the world could you do a task in October and get a big payday in June?
Anyway, I just wanted to touch bases with everyone and let you guys know that I'm still around! Happy Summer everyone :)
My wish, or I should say my goal is to be in the same situation as yours on my 10th year anniversary (minus the drama with the neighbor of course),
Having a sustainable business so that when you need to get away, there's still Mullah coming in!!!
Wow! what a great business opportunity we are in!
:)
