Just 48 hours gone seemed like forever
We lost a couple of aunts, both about 90 in the last couple of days..Sad but they had awesome lives and I just noticed that being away from here now just that bit of time is like going from months of straight day shifts onto midnight shifts..
Hope everyone is doing well and sorry to those who asked me questions and I didn't respond. I am getting to you now!

sorry for your loss, it is hard to lose people. I was with my grandfather, holding his hand when he passed away, just short of his 90th birthday. I moved from Massachusetts to California to spend time with him, and wouldn't trade it for anything. Doctors told him he had five years to live back in 1945 :-) he passed away in 2009.
I can tell by your words he was very special to you. My mom's mom is the hardest hit I have had to date just because I was with her practically daily from birth for over 30 years. thank you for sharing.
Take the positive away from their lives and let that live on. I remember my grandfather's passing and how emotional that was for me as he played such a big part in my life. :)
I didn't know either grandfather, Kyle as they were both much older than my grandmothers'. They passed away in 1957 and 1964 (I was 2). It is strange as I didn't lose anyone until the 90's when my grandma's both passed. They were both born in 1903 and buried in 1995. It has been 20 years and this is the first that it has started to take place once again. We are very lucky in our family. Natural causes with them all. Thank you for your kind words.

That is the same situation as my wife, she never met her grandparents. I do feel fortunate that I was able to spend all those years and looking back, I gained a whole lot of wisdom from my grandfather.
thank you so much. I knew dad's siblings couldn't last forever. there were ten kids all in a row, my scuba Joe SR lol...dad being in the middle at 80 now. The 2 eldest sisters passed pretty much together.
Strange how that happens. My late grandmothers two brothers passed within days also. Life works in mysterious ways sometimes.
My regards to scuba snr.
Sorry for your loss, I was wondering where you were.
When your 90 you have had a good long life but we still miss them.
My mom passed at 95 about 2 years ago.
Glad your back'

95...incredible....I still have loads of people still living between the ages of 80, being my dad and 95, being my stepdad....I know my mom's passing will be awful and I can only imagine how hard that must have been. She's 78 and still in pretty good shape, luckily. thank you for your words and noticing I was gone
I replied to you first and it's gone! I thanked you for your kind words Chris but it disappeared. Twilight zone...do do do do. I don't even know why I happened to look. I hope the two old girls are having a blast together somewhere as they loved to dance!
