I installed a brand new free theme for my site in an attempt to make it loo

Have you looked into magazine themes? Or paid themes? They tend to have more options to customize the home page.

Just remember that the home page is only ONE page of your entire website. It's not going to make a huge difference in your traffic or conversions on product reviews.

My best advice is to try a different theme. Use a test website to try out a few themes until you find the right one.

I downloaded a new free wordpress theme and installed it onto wordpress. I've tried 3 so far and I've run into this problem each time and I'm not sure why. I didn't feel the themes offered to me thus far were suitable for the site.

So I haven't written a thing on my site in a while, for a variety of reasons, and honestly I've become less satisfied with it as time has gone on. I'm wondering if I should sta

Hi Jaylin, I went through that with my first website, I got to the point I wasn't really happy with the name and the targeted niche. I had a real hard time writing any post. So I started a new website with a different name but basically the same niche.
The first one was focused on building your own computer, my current one is focused on how to use your computer. This gave me more to write about and now I enjoy doing it.
I also incorporated most the post from the first by re-writing them so there was no duplicate content.
I hope this has helped,
Kim

I don't understand you niche .. and my thinking is what is the point of a new domain and new site in the same niche? Are you getting traffic to your site? No traffic, no potential sales. How are your pages ranking? I would redo the training and check the site against what Kyle says. Also how could you get visitors that are from sources other that Google searches?

I am sure some other members will have better suggestions than me but this is a start .. Cheers, William.

I need a job to work from home right now! Not a place like textbroker which pays to little and not a place like upwork where I don't know when or if I'll ever get a job or anyt

If you live in USA, try Amazon Mechanical Turk (google it) or Clickworker

If they think Textbroker doesn't pay enough, there is no way that Amazon Mechanical Turk will work for them, it's a fraction of what Textbroker pays.

I can't tell how much she/he will be able to make on Amazon Turk, but at least can give it a try. After all, you never know what suits better for certain people. Maybe tasks on turk are more simpler for she/he to complete and "deal" with? Just mo

Unfortunately, this platform is not structured to help you obtain this kind of position, and you have eliminated all the avenues I might have suggested for you. (Textbroker, iWriter, Upwork, etc.) The only thing I can suggest is double down on the work you are doing for yourself, or look outside the home.

This actually isn't for me, so much as for a friend I know. With a strong photography background and looking for work. Could someone recommend a website of some kind where some

Hi Nanowave,
One that I could recommend would be Fine Art America dot com (which is also Pixels dot com..you join one, you're also on the other) since there are photographers there as well as artists that use the site to sell their photos or artwork as prints, posters, greeting cards, phone cases, etc.

Like anything, It does take awhile though to get sales or get noticed there. The more he's active there and commenting on other members photos/art the better. And joining groups helps a lot as I've just recently found out. They also have discussion forums for the members, which I find quite helpful since I'm a member there.

Anyways, the best thing I like about it, besides that it's a free membership, is that you can choose how much to charge as a markup for any of the prints and other items...they do all the shipping and dealing with customers.

Hope that helps out some, and if you have questions let me know...I'm more than happy to help out if I can.

Best wishes :) ~Sherry

She could submit photos to stockphoto websites, but you don't get paid much per image. You need a large portfolio, so it may take time to build decent income.

Have them check out Zenfolio.

How does it work exactly? You build a website but what for?

To sell copies of your photographs. Zenfolio is an ecommerce site for photographers. They do all the processing, shipping, etc.
