'Do you know what 'Nomophobia' is?
Hello Guys 'n Dolls!
I hope you are having a great week.
As always, whenever I see, do, or read anything interesting that I would love to share with the community, one way I do this - creating a post!
SO, here goes -
What is Nomophobia?
'It is the fear of being without a smart phone or being out of mobile phone range.'
Can you believe this? Our world is so electronically engaged, advanced, addicted, that it now has coined a word to express the 'smart phone emotion'.
It blew my mind!
What will we think of next?

This is the phobia of the new generation. However an increasing amount of individuals from the older generations are getting in line with that phobia as well. Thanks for sharing, Michelle.
Yes, I have to agree with you there, Corvisart. There are a few adults out there acting like teenagers in so many ways. Bless their hearts - my southern way of not being unkind.

Michelle, you can be guaranteed that they will find a word with phobia at the end for most things lol.
I guess I had that before I got my prepaid smart phone. I was without a phone for 4 or 5 months.
LOL...isn't that bit of info interesting, though. I wonder how many of our teenagers would admit to having it?
There are more phobia's than you think Michelle

In the Greek, nomos means law and phobia means to fear, so I am guessing it means to have a fear of the law.

Old or young it really doesn't matter There is a phobia for any age and young and old can share the same phobia
