Hi everyone, I am seriously thinking about using artificial intelligence to create content for my website. I have created 3 or 4 pieces of content which was super Easy and much

You might find this useful:

I'm thinking of creating a blog post containing links to them. Would that be useful, do you think?

Thanks. I'll do that then.

You can use ChatGPT for brainstorming and outlining but use it as a tool, not copy and paste.

Also, for factual content, you would need to cross reference your findings because ChatGPT does get it wrong.

Hey Donnie - i do remember the name...welcome back...
just a fair warning - google is now asking content creators to mark ai generated reviews as or have it not indexed...
so i would take what chatgpt ( do you think it sounds natural and friendly...) and rewrite it in your own voice...
i wouldn't now jsut copy and paste content from any of the ai bots - but use them to speed up the content creation process - for ideas on where to go and content clusters that may work and initial ideas....
but always hand write the end pieces ...
read their new rules in the merchant center

Thanks Phil For your comment and advice. I went to the Google Link you supplied, read everything and I don't believe the content I created violates any of their rules. None of the content has anything to do with reviews. Once again thanks for the comment and the advice, you are very much appreciated.
Donnie

no worries Donnie - i think it is the tip of the iceberg ...
google will start clamping down on the ai generated sites - similar to the blackhat ones a few years ago...
but enjoy it while they allow it...

Hi everyone, I seem to have lost my bookmarks icon so now I am unable to find any of my bookmarks. It seems like it should be an easy thing to find, can anybody help?

Magnifying glass top, then favorites tab.

On the far right side of your url line you should see three vertical dots. If you click on that, it will open up a box in which you will find your Bookmarks. Hope this helps.

Where can I find my bookmarks?

I hope someone can help. I am having problems creating custom menus and a navigation widget/ I have been through the training module twice and it is still all Greek to me. Plea

Where specifically are you feeling stuck? Are you having problems creating the actual menu?

You can add these custom menus to organize your top menu in any way in which you like, as well as create sub-menus (for themes that will support this). You can also use these custom menus to add within your side widgets on your website (within your sidebar).

Here is a tutorial on how to create custom menus: I use custom menus on all of my websites (over-ride that default menu). It allows much more control and organization....both good things!

Don't know if this will help.
Here's how we look at creating menus.
when in the "Menu screen" appearance -> menus we look at the right hand side where the menu is created and modified and saved and the left hand side where we can add new items from.

Before anything can be done, we look at the right hand side and at the top see "location or menu" or "create a new menu" or "select a menu" (wording varies by theme). We select a menu. Then once it is selected we can edit. add new items from left hand side or use the drop down under existing ones to "remove" the item.

On the left hand side there are options of what can be added to the navigational menu. If you have a specific page, post or category you wish to add to the menu you can use "most used, all or search for them". then check what you want to add to the menu on the right hand side of the screen.

When things go to the right side they appear at the bottom.

The next part of moving items in the menu on the right hand side can be challenging to get used to. it takes patience and trying to see how it works.

When trying to move items in the menu on the right hand side there are two ways you can move the items.

1) Along side the name of each item is a down carrot where you can use the upone downone. under xxxx
2) hover of the item and look for the "+" sign with the arrow at the end. When that appears you can drag and drop items. It takes patience and trying to get used to this part.

Set aside some time to get used to it. We had challenges when we tried to use it too.

You first need create a menu, when you do you can start adding pages, categories to it - of course updating changes.

For widgets you need head to appearance > widgets. In the standard view you may click the plus to add something or the three dots and choose to remove a block from the drop down menu.

Tutorial

What exactly has got you stuck?

Hi there. Know how you feel, been there. I will try to help. Go to your Dashboard of site, appearance, menus. You will see on the left you can click on Custom menu. In the URL put the hash tag symbol. In Link text: Put a name for your menu. Click add to menu. If you like where it is positioned click Save Menu. Now you can add posts under it. Go to visit site to have a look. If you are not happy with where it is, go to Customize, Scroll to menus. You will see where your Site Theme displays menus and how many.
Try it out. All the best.

Hi everyone, I am trying to purchase a domain and when I do this it tells me that the email is being used by another member. This is very confusing, I am not able to contact su

When you first start it can be advantageous to use a free stireubix.com domain website because if you change your mind about the direction you wish to go you can just delete it and start in a new direction without having purchased anything. And if you like it you can MOVE everything (content pages, posts, theme, plugins, settings) without having to redo.

Here's the link to create a free one first./

Yes, you will want your own dot com. It will not be a subdomain of sitrubix.com. It will be a yourdomainname.com.

How to delete and build different free website.
Menu Bar -> websites -> Site manager -> find your website
Look in lower right hand corner for "details" click on it.
Then scroll down and look in bottom left hand corner for "delete"
Click it.
To create a new one
Menu Bar -> websites -> Build Website -> Free website.

That is the advantage of starting with the free sitrubix.com website because it can be deleted.

If you purchase a dot com domain name it cannot be deleted. You are the owner for a full year and can be renewed for same length of time. If you want a different domain name you must buy another dot com domain name. You cannot change a purchased domain name because of industry standards for domain name registrars.

If you wish to purchase one and someone already has it, you will have to choose a different doma8in name.

Thanks George, I was a premium member for two years up until six months ago, now that I am back with a fresh mindset it is all confusing to me so I will be asking for a lot of help. Thanks for your great reply.

You are very welcome. And please do ask a lot of questions that is how learning occurs..
