I Have Written My First non-WA Business Review... Now my Second!
Well.. I finally made it over that hurdle. I have written my first business review. I chose Melaleuca for my first one. And I just had to choose a big MLM to conquer didn't I? I based my review off of my past experience with the company and brushed up on my knowledge by doing a little research online. This latest draft can be found here at http://itsmomsbusiness.org/melaleuca-review. I may shorten it a little and add a couple more images later in the content, but for now this is what I have. I welcome feedback.
Now I have 3 more business reviews that I can write. 2 from personal experience and 1 from hearsay. Avon, LaBella Baskets, and Mary&martha(previously known as Blessings Unlimited). What do you all think about reviewing Faith Based businesses? I'm trying to figure out what angle to approach that one with, I do have my own opinion based off of my own faith and beliefs and don't know if I should put that in there from that kind of perspective. Opinions? Also... I need a little more information about how to rate a business. So if anyone would like to answer that question for me I'm all ears.
Update: Here is my second business review... i chose Avon. http://itsmomsbusiness.org/avon-review. Making progress!

Unable to connect on the link for the melaleuca or the avon review, for some reason. I was particularly interested in the melaleuca, as they were trying to recruit me it seems to work for them, a couple of weeks ago.
Great job April on the Melaleuca review! Very informative. It was long but didn't feel that way because you used "style" : https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/workathomecareerscom/blog/do-you-have-style You definitely have a good knack for writing. The only thing that is missing is a call to action which every article should have. I covered that here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/workathomecareerscom/blog/are-you-treating-your-visitors-like-a-dumb-herd-you-should
Other than that, I like what you've done. Now you just need to continue to do that consistently. Spread out your content so you don't run out of ideas or so when you hit writer's block you have stuff ready in the pipeline. I tend to write one article a week and that gives me more than enough time to produce quality rather than quantity which is what you want!
Great job again!
You're welcome April! Anything you write should have a call to action. Eventually it will become second nature to you.
Right out of the gate you pick two I have personal experience with. As an x-Avon Advanced Unit Leader, I agreed with your review. The prices are different when I was selling (my last job before the MS took me out) I was very successful so yes the competition is fierce but I did fine. The experience with the Melaleuca was one of my Avon customers would not give up trying to recruit me. Regardless..
I think both of your reviews were excellent. I can already see who the competition is around here. You go girl!!!!!
Looks good WOW i haven't got that far need to do a review page. Thanks for sharing yours.
Brenda
I'm not stalking you, but it seems every time I go to a page, your post is right above mine. I guess it's an example of "great minds think alike"
Thanks Brenda! It took me two hours for the first one but only one hour for the avon review after i got a grasp on how i wanted tk proceed. It gets easier after the first time . Good luck to you!
Nice Site---I would recommend removing your META box. Some good training on that
