Well, my remaining time to be a part of the Amazon Affiliate Program is nearing its end since I haven't been successful in making any sales. Is it possible to reapply right awa

Yes you can!

Jeff

Hi - yes, you can reapply immediately and will be accepted. However, you will be given a new ID. Your old links will no longer work and you will have to swap them all over.

Oh ok, I will do just that as soon as my account expires. Thank you so much!

Hi, yes can reapply.

And yes you have to change the links and start over they would have given you a new trackable special code to share on your site.
And you still have to comply with their sales quota.

Ahh that is great news, thank you so much!

You're welcome.

Yes you can

Recently rewatched the level 2 - lesson 7 training on "understanding the low hanging fruit". It was suggested to use more words than just the combination of low hanging keyword

Thanks for the question, I learned a few new things form the answers!

Jeff

has it made a difference keeping your titles under 60 characters....
if not then go back....
or maybe have the title of your article more than 60 characters ...but ...
your meta title under 60 characters with a very curiosity arounsing meta description.....
but make the meta title and article title almost the same - with more in the artilce title....
google only keep keywords under 10 keywords...so anything above this is ignored by the algorithm...but not humans....
have fun
phil
gone over to simple seo - back to the old days of all in one ...less pressure...more fun.....

The 60 characters restriction is just for the title of the article. the low hanging fruit keywords should be used multiple times throughout the article you are writing. You should be using a combination of keywords and synonyms to those keywords throughout the article to make it sound more natural and be more captivating to your audience while at the same time, more visible to "digital screening" so to speak. Does that make sense?

That makes sense, my article itself didn't change but adding just one or two words to the title to make it more interesting brings my AIOSEO score from 92 down to 80 something. Was just wondering if that reduces the chances of visitors finding my article or anything.

Like Phil said, :)

Sounds good :)

Recently I've been trying to explore AIOSEO a bit more. It seems like a new function and it looks like something that one can benefit greatly if taken advantage of. Many of my

Jay even has a class on this tomorrow, I believe!

Hi, the scores are really not important IMO vs priority to write quality rich posts with good of keywords and really nail content in your niche.

Jays live event this week in regards the new AIOSEO

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/classes/navigating-the-new-all-in-one-seo

Oh ok that's good to know. I'll keep working on more quality content, thanks!

Hi - every post should an internal link. Take a look at this training for an explanation and how to add them.

Oo I see, it's just tying in links of other posts from your own website to each other to allow for better visitor experience. Thanks a bunch for this, I'll be working on that.

Exactly! And it also helps Google understand your site. It even helps with indexing. If you have a post that isn't indexed, then if you add an internal link leading to it, Google will find it quicker.

Oh wow that's really awesome, thank you for this information!

Sometimes I would post both the text version and the text + image version of the Amazon affiliate links to my website. Although I like the tex

Hmm...my questions was a bit confusing. I guess as an example, if I was trying to sell an Amazon product, and I would click on the generate "text" link.

It would give me something like
1. https://amzn.to/abcdef....

Then I close that web page, but then at a future time, I go back to the Amazon product since I need the link again, so I click on the generate "text" link, then it gives me:
2. https://amzn.to/a1b2c3d....

Then let's say I repeat those steps several times and new links are:
3. https:/amzn.to/xyz123....
4. https:/amzn.to/987654....

All 4 links still lead to the same product when clicked on. But was wondering if new link #4 make #1, 2, and 3 obsolete (even if they are working and leads to same product).

There is not much difference on which version you use for the amazon promotion. If you put your Amazon affiliate link affiliate disclosure from the beginning of after the first paragraph, people will know that the product is from Amazon, regardless. Almost everyone knows about Amazon.
It all depends how you word your review about the promoted product to make people want to click on "buy it now" button. But overall, a good review and an image can entice the visitor to buy. If you are not sure which way to do it, you might want to try doing tests on different social media platforms using different versions of promoting to see which one stands out the most. All the best!

I use Amazon image links and text links. I rarely use image &text;. In my experience, text links give the best conversion.
If you are using Amazon one link for more countries, keep in mind that it only works with text links.

Mike, thanks for asking the question and thank you Joyce for the comment. One to remember.

Mine, I use Amazon link image, image+text, sometimes just a text link. But then, I tried to visit each of the links, I have no problem with it. Maybe I have a new version of the link.

If you started to have any issues with it, and if not too many, to recheck better to do it now than later. The best is to put to a new version of the link. So it is directing your link straight to the right place. So you are worry-free.

Best wishes,
Joyce

The links (both old and new) still lead to the desired amazon product when I click on it, so no issues for that so far. Just concerned when someone purchases something on old affiliate links and it doesn't translate into income if a new link was accidentally generated. Still haven't generated any income.

Ah, ok.
But soon you'll generate income, that is why we are here now. Before that arrives and avoid any future issues, better to change it by now, you'll not worry anymore about it. Good luck, my friend. To our success!

I suggest talking about it to Miss Diane; she has a better idea about it. My experience is not enough; I didn't know about the old link and new link at Amazon. As I understand if you have generated an income one day still going to your account regardless with the new or old link. I hope this helps my friend.

With best wishes,
Joyce

Ahh thank you Joyce, I agree with you that I should probably just update the links with newer ones just to be safe.

I think that the best solution, my friend, so no worry at all, and you can focus on other thing on your site. Good luck.
Joyce:-)
