🏆 My AI Influencer Creator Cup — The Sunday Experiment

The Baltimore Ravens are off today, so I created my own competition to fill this Sunday.

This one’s all about creating an AI Influencer. Something I get asked about all the time. So let me spill the beans...

Creating AI Avatars starts with the perfect base image.

The video I posted is a montage of the best images from each of the nine leading AI image generators.

To keep it fair, I created four images per platform and selected the one I believed had the best “starting potential.”

Today's competitors are:

1. Nano Banana
2. Reve AI
3. Whisk Image Studio
4. Higgsfield AI
5. DZine Studio
6. Freepik AI Generator
7. Flux by Tensor.Art
8. Enhancor AI
9. Kling AI Studio

Each of the nine will receive a score based on the following:

• Realism (1–10)
• Style Range (1–10)
• Final Score (/20)
• Judge’s Summary → creator-style commentary (“Natural tone, believable eyes, strong base for your next avatar”)
• Special Mention (if applicable) → “Best Lighting,” “Most Versatile Base,” “Miss Congeniality,” “Most Likely to Become a Trend,” etc.

At the end:

The prompt that I gave each generator was:

Before I move on to the results, how many of these AI-generating platforms are you familiar with?

I did not include Stable Diffusion, as Flux in reality is SD 3.0. I should have included Leonardo AI, but I didn't think of it. Here is their honorable mention.

💡 Why the Bikini?

I know, this is a common question. But when creating consistent AI characters, body geometry matters.

AI models struggle with legs almost as much as hands. If your first image hides them (like pants or long dresses), you’ll never get consistent full-body outputs later.

So yes, the bikini serves a technical purpose; it helps the AI “understand” body proportions, posture, and symmetry right from the start.

Building this competition was more fun on a Sunday than I have had this season. Just in case you were wondering, my ranking is below. Rankings 4,5,6, were a toss-up. The bottom three were easy in my opinion.

1. Reve - This was what looked "real" to me
2. Whisk - I kept stopping on this image
3. Enhancor - Great avatars are attention-grabbing
4. DZine - This is a solid image that has what you look for in an influencer
5. Flux - Can't believe I selected this one
6. Banana - Gets a lot of pub for swapping stuff in and out
7. FreePik - Nothing to see here
8. Kling - Nothing striking
9. Higgsfield - The most "plastic" of the bunch

I ranked these before running the results. How did I do?

Now what?

Before your new AI influencer ever steps onto a digital runway, she needs a skin refresh. We need to be able to stand nose to nose and get the sense that she is breathing. If she doesn't look real enough, she won't influence anyone.
