Hello, I was under the assumption that we can schedule our posts via WordPress, but I haven't spotted where to do that. Am I overlooking it?
Ok, thank you. That's exactly what I was looking for. I'm headed there now to schedule my post. I appreciate your help.
This is something that not even I knew about, so I’m going to play around with it, to see how well it works.
probably not very well - not known for its robustness - try adding wpmaster toolkit or toolbox and switch on the retry failed post switch....
I have learned something new. JarieLyn, “YOU CAN” auto schedule your post in Wordpress. I have two pictures to share. In order to do this you have to go to your back office. Look for the word post. Should be in the left column in your back office as it shows in the first picture.
Now, in picture one I have circled quick edit. In order for you to get here you can hover your mouse over the name of your article if you are working from a computer or slightly tap it to reveal quick edit. Click on the words “quick edit”.
This will take you to picture two. Which I will post here separately.
Piggybacking on what Phil said I haven't heard of anyone who had found a consistent way of doing this outside of setting an alarm so they could be reminded to do it themselves.
I don't think it's a WA thing, it's a disconnect in the Wordpress scheduler.
i have a plugin called wpmaster toolbox that has a section for retrying a failed scheduled post...
You can schedule it directly within Wordpress. As Phil mentioned, this is a feature we would like to include within Wealthy Affiliate, along with publishing content to any website. These are likely updates that you are going to see in the near future as we evolve the platform. ;)
you can schedule the posts for your wa blog but not for your website ...at the moment...
it was in teh pipeline and the ux change took over ....
i am hoping that this will be revisited but do wonder...
so if you publsh to your site and then goto your site and change the post to draft....
the standard wordpress scheduler is not very robust and needs an extra plugin to ensure the tasks are carried out....
if it is busy when it should publish the post it just tells you that it missed the target rather then trying again....
there are several plugins that will try agian...i have not used them as i tend to publish...

Look at picture two where you see date it gives you the ability to schedule a time in the future for your article (currently in draft form) to be posted.
