My wife Beth used to work with the local newspaper. I worked with a local landscape company. The economy in Illinois has never really improved in the last ten years, I was laid off from the landscaping job and Beth was laid off from her job with the paper. She was able to get us both newspaper motor routes, which didn't pay to bad at first, but with the newspaper industry going down the drain all across the country, our income has shrunk. It was only meant to be something that would get us by until we could find something decent. Well, I am hoping I have found that with Wealthy Affiliate. We have two grown children, Nathan 25 and Riley 22. Our only remaining "child" at home is our beloved miniature dachshund, Itsy, she is 5, and a treasure.

Hi Mark, just touching base to see if you have any questions. It seems obvious the newspaper industry would be in decline but I wasn't aware of the extent it was struggling. One of my main reasons for starting online was because I could see a downturn coming in my industry as well and I wanted to get out in front of it... and not be dependent on it. If you don't mind the challenge, Wealthy Affiliate can definitely be part of the solution you're looking for. It has been for me.
