Could be. I did check to see there was no ad blocker, and if there was, to make sure it was disabled. I will try again with yet another browser, this time Firefox. When I tried Brave and Edge, things didn't work out.
I use for several functions several browsers, for the social part I use K-Meleon, did you try that one? It's a socalled light browser and free 😊
I do have pale moon, but I very rarely use it. I have Vivaldi, Brave, Firefox, Edge, Pale Moon....

Here is a screen capture the last time I tried to get into FB. It's most likely legit. But the weird thing is that there is a button to confirm at the bottom of the page (not seen) but the button doesn't work or take you anywhere. Which is kind of fishy.
I never got one with Facebook; you may have mistyped the URL. Also, do you use a VPN? Sometimes, you get these to make sure you're not a bot.
Do you have a cybersec program on your device?
Abie
Hi Abie, no I do not have a cybersec program. I do not have a VPN connected to the Vivaldi browser. The best thing for me is to put this behind me, and forget about Facebook. There are other alternatives.
I don't think it was a scam. After more reflection, a more likely reason that I got my account suspended is that I placed a link to my domain on a personal page, when I should have set up a business page. I have tried to login from a email from Facebook and from Facebook links on a search engine, on a different browser, etc. Then again, perhaps my account was hacked. Who really knows? They refuse to tell me exactly what I did. All I can do is speculate. I did appeal a couple of times, but I doubt that will do any good.
Check your email inbox correspondence; you'll see messages from Facebook if there's a change you do not recognize.
Abie
It might be a scam. There are scammers giving fake messages saying you broke community guidelines. I had that happen before where I got messages saying I broke a rule but it wasn't actually from Facebook
Supposedly, I violated community standards. The only thing I can think of is that I said that I was in a certain city, but in a messenger chat I said in the interest of privacy I stated a certain city, but that I actually lived about an hour away from stated city, if that makes any sense.
Perhaps. Like I said before, who really knows? All of this is just speculation. They refuse to tell me exactly and how I violated their community standards. I did not bully, harass, insult, threaten or post any offensive content. That's all I know. I did not spam anyone. All I posted was a few items about herbs and something about water. What could be objectionable about that?
I don't know...
You may want to check with the facebook community going forward.
Thank you for taking the time to type a reply.

The Facebook community is not all that helpful IMO. I'm done with FB for now. It's time to move on to some other topic.
