Quantum truths
When we investigate certain issues we find they reduce to common concepts. Our minds are the investigative tools of our universe.
The thing that caught my conscious mind first is the statement about 11 mil bits of subconscious informative data per second of data. For comparative data a woodpecker has a drilling tap of 20 times per second. After about 5 seconds (100 taps) it has to stop. It can't go on like a pneumatic drill as it has to breathe.
Our amazing brains are hardwired with the ability to run autonomously on thought power and perform computations at the same time. You virtually sleep while you think. The hard-wire interfaces with the extended soft wiring of the senses. The brain has centers for it all.
- Visual cortex for sight, the most sensory of the senses. Here is the important imagery that makes the greatest impression on our senses
- auditory processing center for sound. This is next in importance and lasting stimulation
- tactile sensory information. This brings touch into the picture. It can be pleasant like a warm bath or painful like biting cold or a searing flame
- centers of taste and smell practically indistinguishable in sensation and location in the brain. Olfactory and taste bud receptors.
There are constant controls beyond the sensory. Physical senses give way to mental interpretations. Sight is perceived by brightness, clarity, glare, hue to distinguish colors and the different colors themselves. Sound is determined by volume, tone, harmony. Taste and smell by odor and savor.
The brain isn't done there. Sounds become phonemes which are cobbled together to form words. The words can be constructed to form linguistic strings creating language. Further development of motor skills bears fruit in composed words and sentences. Here is where content is originally composed. Libraries are filled with such works.
The same thing happens with other senses. Stringing sounds together results in a masterpiece of orchestral music or singing.
The brain has awesome power. When combined in a group or organization like Wealthy Affiliate It can transform society and civilization.

With computers getting smarter we might have an answer to all these questions about the mind in the near future.
I think the mind can process negative thoughts as well as positive ones.
Just the other day I read where scientists have discovered that the lack of just 2 friendly bacteria can make us depressed ? Nothing to do with the mind but a friendly bacteria in our gut !
Friendly bacteria are very powerful!
So we have a lot to learn about the mind .😜👌

They can be very powerful, there was a book written years ago called the power of the mind , people would learn a language while sleeping and also listening to Baroque music 😎☝️
you are right -- we have the ability to change the world if we can just decide on which changes to make.
No matter how we study it, the brain is such a complex part of us. A very integral part obviously, and needs exercise as much as other parts of us for mental fitness.
