Finally Indexed by Google!
Hey everyone!
So today I just want to share the joy of my website finally being indexed in Google! I showed up as the 2nd line when I type "lazyreads", and 4th page when I typed "lazy reads". (Just FYI, my webpage is http://lazyreads.com.) It has been around more than 2 weeks since I started my webpage. I've been consistently adding posts and pages (I now have a total of around 8 or 9 pages with content and 3 posts with content). Even though I still haven't earned much $$ wise, I am very happy that I got indexed by Google because it was my next goal. Here I want to share some tips (experiences from what I've been through):
1. When you updated your content, make sure to utilize your social media to get page views. I used my personal Facebook account, Pinterest, and Twitter (though I only have 18 followers but it doesn't matter). This really helped me with my webpage as I am blessed with supportive friends who visit my page when I update my new blogs/pages. Also, people who aren't close with you but have you on Facebook might be curious on what you're up to - they might click on your page but might not "like" your Facebook post. So don't get discouraged!
2. Use Google Adsense as not part of earning money, but download the app to guess-timate how many page views you have. I believe that you can do that through Google Webmaster Tools too.
3. Google Webmaster Tools. Connect this with your webpage using a plugin. Here's a link on how to set up Google Sitemaps plugin. I believe that Kyle also taught how to connect Webmaster Tools and Wordpress account too. (If I was mistaken, please leave a reply so I can help you out.) The reason why you want to use this is because you want Google to index you through sitemaps. If necessary, you may want to use it to help Google fetch your site so your webpage will be indexed faster. But apparently it is not recommended to do many times for that. Maybe wait for at least 2 ~ 4 weeks to get it indexed.
And one more thing, DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED YET. I really hope that you guys won't give up on yourself. Remember that this does take time and effort to build, and this is also a part of learning process on yourself too!

Thanks! I was using Jaaxy before, but after Kyle introduced Keyword Tool for us, I started using Keyword Tool. It became more convenience to use it just because it's a hassle to open a new page and sign in to Jaaxy. Since I didn't upgrade in Jaaxy I thought Jaaxy was pretty slow too. =)
congratulations! Did you use incognito view to do this search? Somebody else alerted me on this to get a real result on where you're page will be if others search for it. I did this on lazyreads and it is not on the second line now but still on the first page! Well done!
