Hey everyone,
I just want to raise a discussion on how to find the best ad programs. I'm currently using Google Adsense which works fine, but I was wondering what kind of
Hi Lisa, you might want to check out http://www.media.net/, it runs the Yahoo! Bing Network contextual ads program .
If you have a Amazon Associates account follow this link https://widgets.amazon.com/ you can customize these widgets. The ads you want to be putting on a website, must be relevant to the content of your website. You will find an good selection of different style ads and widgets, you just need to make sure the size is right and it flows with your website. Test it out on your site to see how they look, before you place them permanently.
Hi Lisa,
I checked your site out and found the banner ads, not very impressed.
The banner ads do not work very well as the markets are saturated with banner ads, I can't remember when last I clicked on a banner ad.
If you go to the Google Adsense page, you can check their layout proposal for ads.
I would recommend you use 3 text ads per pages, top middle and bottom.
You can make the ads almost blend with your content.

PS Do not try to place Adsense and another ad together on the same page else Google will slap you and you will never be able to use them again, I strongly suggest you read their terms and conditions and adhered to them to avoid disappointment.
Hm, which kind of ads do you suggest specifically? I only see the banner ads with display/display&texts;/texts. The text ad only still looks unattractive. Can you specify which ones?
Thanks again!
Hey Craig, what kind of ads do they support? Are they similar to the banner ads that Google Adsense have?
Speedy ads is an alternative to Google Adsense . You can check their ads on one of my sites

Oh! It seems pretty nice. In your opinion, is there an ideal number of ads you should put on a webpage?
Oh, really? I never knew that! Do you mind visiting my site and see whether I should add more ad banners or not?

I would stick with Google Adsense Lisa, I have tried several other types of ads in the past and Adsense has worked the best, although I am going back several years! I like the sound of the Amazon widgets, it is probably worth testing them! It will be interesting to see what others have to say on the conversation.
