Do I have to change the code (above the header, before the body) in my back office if I change from a siterubix site to one I now own? Or will google console know that the site
Mine changed automatically when I changed to my domain but it's worth checking in Google Console admin that it has picked it up.

I decided to keep navigating around google console to see what I could do without changing the code in my back office.
I discovered that after I added my new website name (one I now own myself), google automatically recognized my site. So, I'm pretty sure we don't have to change the code.
I was also able to submit my sitemap from my back office too with the training provided by Kyle and the console verified that It was a success:))
I believe that I have to wait a few days for Google to recognize my posts.
I will update you in a couple of days to let you know if everything is good!

I would say you will have to add your website .com to the Google Search Console as if it was a new one because it will be a different domain name. But I'm not sure so I hope you'll get an answer from some expert.

Click on your picture on the left and go to Account Settings. At the very bottom, you will find email notification settings. Click on the edit button to see what notifications are on.
