How can I increase the right and left margins on my website?
Hey guys,
I've been searching how to add more space to the right and left sidebars on my website.
The thing is, I like how it looks from my computer, but I don't like how it looks when I check it from my smartphone.
See what I mean below:

As y'all can see, there's no margin when I check one of my website's blog post from my phone, which I don't like.
Do y'all know if there's a way to add more space to the sidebars? Has it happened to you before?
I don't know if y'all will understand what I mean, I don't know much technical vocabulary sorry.

Is your theme mobile-optimized? On the mobile phone all your pages look like shown here with no space on both sides?
Please give me URL and I can take a look on my cellphone.
I did a little research and you can add padding and create white space with some coding added.
But since you said it looks ok on a computer screen, probably you don't need to do that.
Perhaps your theme doesn't adjust for mobiles? I am not sure. Personally you second screenshot doesn't look all that bad. Is it just your preference and you want more space?
You have the feeling it is not something you will be able to change. Mine looks completely different on my iPhone. I think it is something that happens to make it easier to read on the small screen of the mobile phone. I'm not that techie though so someone may have an answer for you. If not, I would ask it to the community in the question section on your profile. Great question. Jeannie

Not sure, but maybe 'mobile-optimized' utilizes tight margins so that the vertical scrolling is reduced?
