I create my emails with the Email Forward option, and have set up my GMAIL account to receive these emails. I have tested with another email address to the email forwards addre

so you set up an email forward to your gmail, an own domain website email address

when you say 'tested with another email address to the email forwards' what does this mean? you created an email forward to create a website address, so when you tested with another email address - were you sending an email to your website address expecting to see it in gmail? because that is what should happen

so what do you mean by 'change your email in twitter to the email forward address'?

that is a separate thing altogether, you have your website email set up to your gmail - are you wanting to change that?

I clarify.

PROCESS 1:
Went to "Site Email" ->
Created "New Email Forward" ->
Created "email-id-1@mydomain.com" forward to "personal-email@gmail.com" ->
Went to my personal Gmail ->
Set Up SMTP Settings ->
Send email to email-id-1@mydomain.com from another-email@hotmail.com ->
Received it in personal-email@gmail.com

PROCESS 2:
Created twitter-account-1 using personal-email@gmail.com

OBJECTIVE 1:
To change to twitter-account-1 current email personal-email@gmail.com to email-id-1@mydomain.com.

PROCESS 3:
Tried to change the email in the twitter-account-1 from personal-email@gmail.com to email-id-1@mydomain.com ->
Twitter ask me to verify with the email they sent to email-id-1@mydomain.com which is forwarded to personal-email@gmail.com ->
Check and I didn't receive any emails in personal-email@gmail.com inbox/spam/junk which is forwarded from email-id-1@mydomain.com ->
After that I try to send an email from another-email@hotmail.com to email-id-1@mydomain.com, I could receive that email in personal-email@gmail.com.

I tried PROCESS 3 for three times. No emails from Twitter in personal-email@gmail.com inbox/junk/spam which is forwarded from email-id-1@mydomain.com.

Hope this is much clearer. Very frustrated now. Thanks.

okay, impressive clarification, maybe swig a couple of omega 3s to replenish the grey matter under the circumstances :D

so it seems your domain email is working fine to your gmail [I've done the training on creating that so wanted to check that bit was ok and it looks like it is]

but twitter is not allowing you to update your gmail email to your own domain email...

"maybe swig a couple of omega 3s to replenish the grey matter under the circumstances :D" - That's cute, you made my day today with the cute line hehe... yup, definitely I need replenishment of the good stuffs for my grey matter! *sobs*

By the way, I already got it somewhat solved by 3am in the morning (right now it is 1.30pm as I am replying this). So I am pretty groggy right now haha.

I wanted to type in the solution or how the matter has been resolved as soon as I could but was too sleepy last night to finish configuring everything and right now I have to get some work done at work, so that anyone who searches for the same answer will get it clarified as well.

I will come back with the solution or how the matter has been resolved as soon as I can once I solved everything, by tonight or tomorrow night and close this question.

Appreciate your responses mozmary =D

Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same problem.

Hi, it been some time. Things catch on fast and I couldn't go back here to do that summary. So with my mummy memory, can't quite remember how it got solved.

Basically, I contacted support and they helped me resolved it. Plus, you cannot sign up for any accounts like Twitter using an email forward and need to create a normal email like a webmail. From there, you can move forward to resolve the issue. Hope this helps somehow.

I did exactly that. I had to remove the email forward and have Twitter send the verification code to my webmail. I also got Site Support involved because my webmail wasn't working. Anyway, I got the code and all is good, I hope :)

Thanks for responding. I know we all have a lot going on.

Glad it works out for you!

Just a question with regards to Affiliate Bootcamp.

I already have my personal site for my personal niche. I was thinking, will it be advisable if I were to add this affi

You could go either way based on personal and private preferences. In any event check out this site for more content tips!

I agree with JBond1. One niche per site.

Hi, in my personal opinion, the two are totally separate entities. I would not want to see working from home stuff on a breast feeding website.

I think you should be building two different websites as they are two completely different niches.

You could, however, promote one on the other and vice-versa but only in a small way.

This is just my opinion, others may think differently?

Good luck with it all : )

They show up on the desktop platform but not the mobile platform.

Hi.
What type of ads?
Sometimes you have to activate them for mobile separately.

But without more information about how you added them, from where they are, etc I can only guess.

Hi

I am using Ad Inserter to insert my ads but they are not appearing on mobile. Feeling quite upset as I learnt and figured out how to use Ad Inserter hands on without much tutorials and this happens..

These are the ads:

1) Adsense - Page Level Ad
2) Adsense - In-Article Ad
3) Adsense - Text/Image
4) Amazon - Mobile Popover
5) Amazon - Custom Ad
6) Lazada - Search Bar

Only the Lazada Square Banner appears on the mobile platform.
I am not sure if it is only me; I am using Safari on iPhone.

Maybe others might wanna check out on mobile https://theaurumflow.com/ and let me know.

Really appreciate!

For Google Adsense, I have also switched on the following:

QuickStart ads (Desktop & mobile)
Anchor/overlay ads (Mobile only)
Vignette ads (Mobile only)

I come to understand that Amazon - Mobile Popover will only work when we have Amazon links in the page, so I guess that is fine because I have yet to have any. But if there are tips I can use about this ad, I'd appreciate too.

On the homepage I see two ads.
On others pages one ad.

Can't tell which they are, of course, because I will see different ones than you.

One question, though:
Why would you display so many ads if you don't really have content?
You won't make money like this. No traffic, no money.

Too many ads can make a site look bad.
I would focus on content and affiliate links.
That can make you more money when you are starting out.
Most of my sites don't display ads even when they have a lot of content.
Clicks on affiliate links usually make more money than clicks on ads.

I am only on this for a month now. How much of content do one expect with one month's worth of work? I am building on content as I go. I already have my web content planned out, my game plan on, only left with building on the main topics. Tough when I am working full time and also juggling life as a mother with a toddler in a terrible-two stage and a four months old baby going thru the infamous notorious mental Leap 4.

I am laying out the foundation first, and now the the ads. As I go, will have my reviews, and with that, more content and my affiliate links. I also have a few articles I am working on as I type this. I am also updating my social media at the same time now.

I also have an excel spreadsheet to ensure that I don't clutter 10 ads on one page. There are different ads on different pages. I read my page like how I like to read others' pages. I hate clutter, and that's why I limit on one ad per page. Once I have my ads in place, I can forget them, and continue. However since I can only see the square banner on mobile and most people are on mobile, I have the square banner on every page. So at most it is two ads per page, and I ensure it is not too disruptive. I believe giving my readers a good experience.

I want to create quality content, not just filling up my site with content for the sake of it, and quality takes time. So in the mean time while building my content, (some) related ads may help. Like the Amazon custom ones. I am not hoping for that much with the ads either.

Your comment is helpful, but they are telling me something I am already aware of, that content and affiliate links works better. I was actually hoping that someone can help me with how to make the ads appear on mobile, so that I can focus on having only one ad on a page on desktop instead of two, and as I go along with more content, I may just remove the ads down to the necessary ones.

I hope there are others who can give the help I needed.

You seem to misunderstand my well-meant advice.
You are more organized than most.

But you still try to run before you can even crawl.

You won't get much traffic without content.
And those few who find your site at that early stage might get repelled by the ads.
It can look spammy if there are only ads on a site. Even though you are limiting them already.
Google's not a big fan of that either.

You need thousands of visitors to make any money from ads.

So instead on wasting your little time on fixing this problem, I'd rather focus on the content.

That's my advice after over 2 years in the game.
You can take it or not.

I do take into consideration, because we learn different things from different people. I will take it as a reminder for me not to leave my site spammy.

However, your advice still does not answer my main question, and how can I solve this issue. I will prefer to get answers that will help me solve my issue, and move on with my plan. Not saying I am stuck with this small issue, I will just come back to this unless there really is totally no way I can do what I am aiming for.

Thank you.

Hi everyone, I have a Google Brand Account that I created from my own Google account. I am trying to use the Brand Account Google+ in the Google+ but there is no way it seems.

If you have created a Google+ account, you just install the app on your device and log into that account you created on the app. There should be no problems. I'm not understanding why you're having a problem or what the problem really is.

I have a personal account. I am using that personal account to create Brand Account. I am logged into the iPhone app using my personal account, and since the Brand Account is linked to my personal account, I do not need nor do I have an email to log in into the Brand Account.

Using desktop, it is easy to switch to the brand account. It is like switching between two different Google accounts. However, using the iPhone app, there seems to be no way for me to switch to that Brand Account. I can still switch to any other normal personal accounts if I have any.

That's interesting, I didn't know you can create a "brand" account without another email address on G+. Sometimes apps never work as well as desktop versions and that's why you see the difference in use which is very annoying.

If you want to use it on the app, are you still able to just create a new G+ account for your brand with a different email address? This would be the only way I think if you want to use the app to switch accounts.

Thanks for explaining your problem more, now I get to learn another thing about G+. :)

You are welcome! Google+ is still something very new and alien to me, so I am doing my best to adjust to learning this new thing! I somehow bumped into the Brand Account thing when I was Googling on something else, thus this question.

"are you still able to just create a new G+ account for your brand with a different email address?"
Hmm, I do not think so. I guess since there may be no answers to this yet, I will just continue to use the web version then.
