Hi Everyone,

While waiting for Claude Pro to be able to work with me again, I checked and Chat GPT is now able to transcribe PDF files that we can upload to it.

So far, harder to work with than with Claude. It continually wanted to summarize the book which does nothing for me.

I finally got it to give me the first 3 paragraphs correctly when my message limit was reached and I have to either upgrade or wait another 4 hours. I'll wait until then and see if I can get it to transcribe a few paragraphs at a time successfully. If I can do that then maybe I'll upgrade. Time will tell.

I'm already falling behind on editing, formatting and getting books sent to KDP Amazon.

I'm going to take a free training tonight that claims it will show you how to make money with it without using KDP Amazon.

I'm skeptical.

Their marketing tactic is that AI is flooding Amazon and making it harder to sell your books or be seen.

That may be true, but that was the situation BEFORE AI.

Amazon currently lists 32.8 million books for sale comprising:

• Paperbacks 22.9m
• Hardcover 8.1M
• Kindle 1.2m
• Audio CD 351k
• Board Books 138k
• Audible Audio Books 42k

That was 10 years ago!

So yes, you may consider marketing your book in some way so people can even know it exists.

Reprinted Public Domain content has an edge. People are already searching for that title or author because its been available for a looong time.

Well Claude is going to be waking up soon so I better get back to work!
