if you click on your profile image then on upgrade you get to see all hte features...
but once a paid member you can't go back to being a starter on that account....

You should be able to go to the top right corner where your avatar is (the ? mark) and click on that and a pop down will show up and click on your account settings and once there, look to the left side of the screen and you will see "subscription." Click on that and yours will be listed and all it entails. It also gives you the option to upgrade your plan and lays out what the difference is between the plans.
The free plan is not much. I would definitely invest if you can. Blessings!

I recently discovered this open source Woocommerce app online and I’m curious if Wa supports it?

You can install WooCommerce plugin on your WordPress site and utilize PayPal as a payment gateway.
As long as it is run by WordPress it is great.
There's also lots of support and training in regards.

WA hosts WordPress websites and WooCommerce offers a WordPress plugin. You are able to install WooCommerce on your WA website if you want.
If you're talking about training, Magistudios has done some videos on WooCommerce. You would just need to use the WA search function to find it.

Other domain name sellers and website hosts have a back office for customers to manage their domains. I don't know how WA does it? This question arose after I made a few Do
I think I had to do this very thing yesterday. I had transferred my domain to WA from GoDaddy. I had to add the DNS for WA to the name servers .
This is how Site Support had me do that.
You can change the nameservers of the domain by going to the Following URL:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/domains
Go to the settings option present in front of the domain name, click on nameservers option and set the nameservers of WA.
WA nameservers are:
ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com

If you click on the Websites under your profile on the left side you will see a list...site manager, site builder, site domains. You should be able to manage your site(s) with whatever you need to do.
