How important with site trust is the https code for your website?
When doing a web site check one of the negatives is security. Then it is suggested to get the "s" added to the http. I would like to know how many of you affiliates have https websites and what does it take to qualify? I think it may cost some money to qualify.
What are the other qualifications. Here is one of my favorite web site checkers as it is easy to understand. https://website.grader.com/
Any information on this would be appreciated,

If you're going to run transaction processing, then yes. But I believe that processing companies include HTTPS module in their service. Mine did.
Thanks for the comment. I am of the opinion it is not to be concerned about unless we are accepting payments or vital information.

my number is about the same. I am not too upset as I am still gaining traffic. I only change the things that I understand. I tried to do some code and i was successful till I messed up my header and needed support to get it back My site was down for about 7 hours.
It doesn't have be done fast but steady as you understand what to do.

Hey Chrissie, With just a minor adjustment I got the scores of my 2 websites to 84 each. And have an idea for more improvements by using the speed page analyzer that is given by Hubspot :-)

Site Trust is 100% Very Important
Let's face it....we will only buy of sites that we trust...right?
It's very important to have a secure website HTTPS during the checkout process...to ensure that credit card and personal information cannot be hacked into
Hey Crazy Joe, Thanks for your input. If you are selling products and taking payments it is important. But as IMC said, as an affiliate site that does not take vital information it is not so important.
I think there is a fee to get that certification. I don't remember if it is a one time or recurring and if you could get around the payout.

Not important.
Unless you're selling your own products you don't need a SSL certificate.
No need for one for an affiliate site as you aren't processing any payments. WA hosting doesn't support it.
